Judi,

Just keep logging your food and moving your body and you will succeed. It is all mind over matter, but if you don't mind, it doesn't matter. Food in, food out, burn the calories.

Hi,
Well if I could keep up this pace I might could get to the magic 145 lb mark all the books say I should be weighing. However, we all know that it will be a long process to get to the 165 mark I'd like to reach by next summer. It took me ten years to gain 70 lbs hope it don't take ten years to lose it. HA!

Howdy!
Yes I expect I would want some warm days too, especially if the summer month and autumn were cool. I like the sunshine!

I am doing the "First Place 4 Health" book and nutrition class. I was a cheeseburger, french fry junkie. So changing my eating habits, made a drastic difference. Plus getting off my hind end and doing some exercise made the world of difference. But, alas, I am always hungry, so expect my stomach has not shrunk enough to keep me from hunger pains. I used to eat a LOT! Now am down to five to six mini meals a day. Still crave a beer now and then, but have given that up so that I can have other stuff that will sustain me.

We have 15 more days until our cruise, and I may be bad or so bad there, but will try to control my sorry self. HA!

Take care and hope the sunshine is on your face and also warms your heart! Judiemoticon

That's a lot of weight you have lost Judfre. Awesome and congratulations.

Stick to the same scale, same clothes (or not), same time period. Can't go wrong then.

Summer is over for me and Autumn has just started. We had a pretty cold and wet summer unfortunately, and could do with a few hot days before the cold sets in once more.

It depends on how much your clothes weigh as to what the scale says. You need to wear the same clothes all the time to the gym if you are going to weigh there. I weigh myself every morning and I know my nightgown weighs a half pound. So try that or don't weigh at the gym, just at home. I hope this helps.

I weigh daily on one scale about the same time everyday. If I have to get on another one then I won't let that number get to me whether it is higher or lower. I know many say weigh once a week but I need it daily to keep me in control

Hello Everyone,

We finally have some sunshine but it really isn't warm yet. The patch we planted is starting to show some "green specks" as the rye and suet start to sprout. I'm glad winter is on the way out.

Seems every scale I climb on is so different. I'm in a nutrition class at the YMCA, and so far have lost 17 lbs since January 2011. I do take my shoes off before weighing, but now wonder is if should stop looking so often?

Sometime I do lose around 2 lbs in a week and others it barely moves the scale. As long as I keep it going down and not up I shall be a happy camper.

Take care to all of you.emoticon
