With the snow melting and the roads almost clear of ice, I came out of hibernation. Went walking yesterday and it was beautiful blue Alaska sky. Thought I would get back to my concentrating on my goals. I enjoy reading about what others are doing to get fit. For me (for now) just walking and sit ups/crunches/leg lifts.
You are not babbling Nancy - I am new too and I am really overwhelmed, The thing I have found is that I have my little voice, the team and the site all just giving me that bit of support so I can think twice about sitting too long (oven timer on next to me so I can get up and do 20! on a swinging/walker machine or go up and down stairs) It is working! Hope you are getting same buzzy feeling - I need a good support that is positive so I can be - is it the same for you?
Well Hello everyone I'm back. Thank you for your comments I fell off track but got back on. it has been a struggle I started out at 159 lb happy to say I weigh in at 149 it should have been more but like I said I fell off track what I have changed is portion size I think my biggest problem is eating at night you see my work schedule is 2 til 10 so breakfast is around 11 snack at 2 lunch at 5 so by the time I get home at 11 pm I'm hungry and you don't always want the lighter foods no I don't have steak and potatoes that is to heavy.every day I say to my self I'm not going to eat at night when I get home. I try to have something at 9 on last break but as soon as I get home bam have to eat some times its the smell, if hubby has cooked something it triggers something and I eat. ANY SUGGESTION! as far as exersizing I still walk one hour in the moring and a 20 minute walk to and from work.nice to be back

Start slow and do what you can, Just commit to a set amount of time for 3 days a week then add to the time and days.

Good Morning everyone My Name is Nancy Im happy to say I just found this site I love reading what everyone has to say it makes my day Im still trying to figure thing out a few things just to let you know I have lost 3 lbs since i started on jan 19th its not a lot but its something this monday I started my exersize program had to take out one theres no way at this time I could do that exersize my arm musles are not strong enough yet, I love the idea of adding the foods that I eat and it calulates what the value of the food is that way it helps me to see I can take that food out or down size it speaking of down sizing I measure everything im sorry im babbling on Im just so excited I found something that will work for me.
