Cut out the potatoes and the english muffin. Both are loaded with carbs that spike the glucose level. Try hard boiled eggs with a ham slice and a piece of cheese. Bet you won't get hungry before lunch. Also take a lunch meat ham slice and stuff it with cream cheese. Works for me.

I do well with a hearty breakfast, too. I don't seem to need as much protein if I get a good dose of complex carbs. Lots of mornings it's a serving of steel cut oats and fruit, with maybe an english muffin or an egg. Sometimes I'll have a hearty granola cereal with lots of grains and nuts.

I just know that when I eat oatmeal, I'm starving about an hour and a half later. It comes on fast and strong and I can't seem to keep my appetite satisified for the rest of the day. But if I eat the same amount in protein, I can make it to lunch without feeling like I'm ready to pass out.

Yes I have high protein and carbs for breakfast. That seems to curb me for the rest of the day . My carb cravings are not so high after I eat a larger breakfst with high carbs and high protein. I was craving carbs during the day untill I tried this?

I have to have protein at breakfast to keep from getting hungry and overeating. I think that's what you're doing by eating the eggs and the yogurt. Both are high in protein.

I've been eating alot of my carbs and alot of protein during my morning meal.It consists of-----
2eggs, and 1 egg white:(scrambled no oil/butter)
an English muffin:
unsweetened yogurt (3-0z):
strawberries (100 gms):
hashbrowns (80grms)(sometimes)-not evrytime
8-0z cup of coffee+(truvia)
I was wondering if that may be what has been helping me not eat so much in the later part of my day since I get so much in the morning? Anyone else eat like this , and finding they arent snacking so much? I am still eating the proper amount of carbs through the day..but find I snack less and crave carbs less..... What is your opinion? .
