Thanks for the support. I have been told I will love it so I hope you are right!!! I am certainly willing to give it my best shot. I am looking forward to not having anyone else to clean up after. I have been doing that my whole life!! I love to read and write to friends, so I hope to be okay. I will not have any fattening food in the house so I won't be tempted to eat if I get bored!! I am packing and sorting and apartment hunting. I have lived with my youngest daughter and her family for most of 2 years. I am searching for a place of my own. It will be the 1st time in my entire life I have ever lived alone!!! I am open to the challenge!!! I will be living very frugally so there won't be extra money for fattening foods I don't need anyway!! Wish me luck! Happy Mother's Day to All!!!!!
Next week we are getting our kitchen cuboards refinished. That means everything has to be removed they said...SOOOO, I will be spring cleaning the kitchen...I'm excited because I plan on throwing a lot of stuff that I can get by with, hopefully w/o DH knowing. Hehe..

I lost a pound last month in a challenge I joined to lose ten pounds. Some of the team members only wanted to try to lose five. Walking around the building, up and down the stairs is my exercise of choice. It takes 30 minutes to walk the whole building. A lot of people do that because we don't have a safe place to walk around here.
I made tapioca pudding using Splenda and it tastes awful to me but it's for my neighbor who is on a soft diet for a while. She just got out of the hospital a few days ago and is still weak so several of us pop in to check on her during the day. She is also diabetic and one of the ladies is a retired RN so knows what to do.

Oh yes!! what a wonderful time of year..spring cleaning a must..and then off to gardening and constant yard work..love this time of year..I can loose weigh without a lot of extra exercises..lol Jeanine
Yes, just finished my spring cleaning a couple weeks ago. Now its off to my yard work. Need a few new bushes that didn't make the winter. I just love this time of year, when the house is nice and clean, and I can open all the windows to let the fresh spring air in...
I finished my spring cleaning a week ago so my goal is to clean out the flower pots on my balcony and put out some tomatoes, green beans, herbs, and maybe some lettuce. We don't have very big balconies but it's fun to plant in pots. I'll plant the lettuce in a huge salad bowl.
Yes I am planning to do a much better job of spring cleaning this year and have already started. Since I will be retiring this year and will have more time to spend at home, I just might actually keep it up.....LOL
Here it is once again. The start of a new month and time for new resolutions. I have begun the deep cleaning of my house that I "plan" to do every year. My resolution for May is to actually finish it.
For my resolution, I will do at least 2 rooms every week, closets, drawers, under furniture, get those things tossed that I really don't need any more. The Civitan's are having a yard sale May 22nd and have a storage room to keep the things in, how perfect for getting rid of everything.
I will also continue on my nutrition and exercise from previous months.
