Don't focus on the scales, focus on the way you feel and be sure and measure. Inches go before pounds. If you are into a regular exercise routine, you are building muscle. Keep in mind that no one but you can see the pounds on the scale, everyone can see the inches. After 50, it does become harder to lose, but it can be done.
The closer we get to goal, the harder it is to lose those last pounds. I always think of them as the first ones we put on - they are very happy hanging around us!! We've made them feel welcome! LOL!

Start by doing what's necessary, then do what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
Thanks for that tip. I didn't know he less you have to lose the slower it goes. I am feeling the lost in my clothes but scales are moving very fast and some days it even goes up a pound. But i know since I'm down in clothes something is happening. Keep moving it's working. God bless. Ginny

Don't get too hung up on the scale. The less you have to lose, the slower it goes. AND the scale is only one measurement. Just stick with it - change up your food and exercise to keep your body off balance a bit. You can do this!

Hi Ladywiz: I am in the same boat. I have stayed the same for about 3 weeks now but I measured myself & I am losing inches. Not much but a little. Don't give up our scale will start going down again. Never feel alone in your battle we are all here to help. Carol

This is week 2 at the same weight. I can't seem to make the scale move. I tried going down on my calorie count, going up, add new exercises, add more cardio and nothing. Yesterday I gave up. I did not exercise and ate anything I wanted including ice cream and nothing.
the good news is the scale isn't moving up or down. It is just stuck. Any idea?
