Thanks everyone! I'm concentrating on strength training for now. The toe's feeling somewhat better, so maybe it was just a nasty sprain and I'll be back on my feet in a week or so. I scored two free passes to the Y, so will get over there to swim later this week.

Sorry about your injured toe, KBEHNKE81. Could you still swim? How about upper body strength training doing supersets with no breaks? Pilates in not cardio, but I think you could do most of the moves with a toe injury(on the floor, anyway). I hope you find something to do. I went walking and did upper body strength training today.

1 hour gym class at the park. The morning was cool enough in the shade that it was quite pleasant! VEENA' glad it's cooled off and you can get outside some! And KBEHNKE81, sorry to hear about your injury! When I was having some health issues and I couldn't walk, I did the Spark People seated cardio and strength training videos. There are a number of them. It's not as strenuous as a walking workout but at least it is moving.

injured (broke?) my toe. Other than possibly biking, any suggestions for cardio requiring only one foot? I'll be able to walk in a week or two, I think, if i end up with one of those little boot thingies.

Hi everybody! Just back from 10 days vacation with no internet. Every day was 3-4 hours of walking and visiting sites- no really intense cardio but I was moving at least which hopefully compensated for a bit more food than usual. We will see with the weigh-in tomorrow! Back to water aerobics tomorrow!
