Well it has not been a good month for me, I have been going up and down between 169 & 171 been there for 6 to 8 weeks and it's really getting to me! Too much stress in my life I can't fix. Hoping that Feb. will be better so I can get closer to meeting my goal weight.

Last month I was only on this for 2 weeks. I've lost 5 lbs. This month I want to do more exercise and watch more of what I eat. I haven't had pop for 6 years,but I drink tea like it was nothing.So in the last 2 weeks I've cut down to 1 glass a day and uped my water intake. So lets here it for a new month!
I came back to SP on Jan 11 after getting a cortisone shot on the 7th for what started as tennis elbow (work injury) back in July '12, which turned into a "tear" of the tendon from the elbow at the point. With my head in this journey (rather than fighting me) I've been able to change how not just me but my family eats, most days look forward to my treadmill workout though still not able to do strength training (Wii Sports for 1/2 hour max is all the dr. is allowing) or any exercise that requires weight or over use of my arm. I've done away with pop, junk food and most refined/processed foods. I drink 2 cups of coffee max in the mornings, the rest of the day is water. I'm learning to set and celebrate small goals, no matter how silly or insignificant they may seem. January has been a great month. For the first time in years, I'm looking forward to February (my birthday month).

Hi all! I quit Pepsi a month ago, stopped sugar 3 weeks ago and got rid of wheat 2 weeks ago. So far I've lost 11 lbs. now I just wish I could be more motivated to stick to an exercise routine better! Smoeii

It is the end of the month........... reflect back how far have you come what have you accomplished, and where does next month lead?
I started Spark, gave up snacking at work (bad chips bad!!!) and stopped drinking mt dew. got a membership to the YMCA, only used it once before I got sick, but I have my bag packed and just waiting until I can breath easy and I am there.
