Hi! Hope everyone is having a good week. I hurt my neck and shoulder on Monday, feeling about 95% better today. Hope to be back to full pain free by tomorrow. I have still been eating a low acid foods and although I have not really had much of a change in my acid refulx I think I am feeling better. I am looking forward to a nice long weekend....hope everyone has good weather and enjoys the Memorial Day holiday!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Day 16 for me and down 3.5 lbs. I keep telling myself to just stay accountable and track everything and SP will work for me this time!
I tend to get busy or forgetful/lazy when I get home from work, so I have been finding that walking at my breaks and lunches during the day are better for me.
Hope you all are having a great week and looking forward to the holiday weekend. I'm currently browsing sparkrecipes.com for lower carb and calorie options to serve at our cookout!

Take care! emoticon

Hello Tuesday. Day off today, and had plans to mow the lawn, get housework done, etc. Well at about 6 am my body had a different plan for me. I had shooting pain across my chest. Freaked the heck out of me.

My partner took me to the er. Last time I was a patient in the hospital was literally 30 yrs ago, when I was 13 having reconstructive ear drum surgery.

Thankfully everything is totally fine. Was not my heart. More like a muscle strain, so the doc thinks. ( I did up my cardio weights from 1.5 per hand to 2 pounds per hand)

Got home fairly early, but kind of out of it still, mentally exhausting morning. Prob skipping my scheduled strength workout today, though I am trying to still get my steps to 5k.

I don't care how many detours this journey has, I WILL get there!

Good Tuesday afternoon! I just got back from my 3 mile walk on the battlefield. Boy is it packed with people today! There are plenty of school field trips going on this week I suppose. I made sure to walk the steps of the PA Monument because my legs are weak from not having any stairs to walk for over 5 years (my place and my office both have no stairs, and neither does any other place that I go to other than the battlefield). I'm working my way up with that, and eventually I will go up to the top of the two taller towers on the field. The last time I tried to do that I was so winded that I had to sit for several minutes because I thought I was going to pass out... I just need to take it one step at a time (pun fully intended)!

The weather is so nice that I'm considering going back down into town for a walk after dinner. I'm going to miss being able to do all of this when I return to work in the fall!

Have a great day, everyone!

~Tammy

Tonight is my daughter's band banquet. It is always a fun night. I'm off tomorrow and my kids may be going to Six Flags so it may just be me and dog at home. I can live with that. It's supposed to rain so if they don't go, I may see if they want to get pedicures. I'm in great need of one!!

Welcome Monday! I had plans to work in the yard all weekend but it rained. So I had a lazy weekend - I kind of needed it - so it was all good!

Got a new grill so I'm ready to cook!

Talk to you soon,

Good morning everyone! I had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful and I got some really great walks in. Going to be nice today and then rain for the next couple of days. It amazes me how much the weather affects my mood. I really love getting outside. Grilled on the bbq pit yesterday for the first time this season. I miss doing that. And my whole family sat down at the table for dinner. We don't get that very often.

Happy Friday!!!! Well, to most, that is... LOL My guy works Friday through Monday so my weekends are Tues, Weds, Thurs until I return to work.

Speaking of which, I can see where my issues are when it comes to my struggle to lose weight. When my honey's home and it's raining, I'm scared to death to do a workout with him around. I'm embarrassed and afraid he'll poke fun at me like my ex husband did. I know, I have issues. He swears he won't do that to me, but the fear is still there. He's also good at trying to hand me bits of what he's snacking on... Most of the time I resist the temptation (yesterday I talked him out of going for malts after our 3 mile walk on the battlefield). He said he's amazed by my will power when it comes to food. Sadly, that doesn't help when I'm not getting my workouts in as I should. I also need to really start sticking to a strength training routine. I know I'd lose more if I built up my muscle.

Yesterday was wonderful. Finally a day without rain! So, we drove down into town and walked along Culp's Hill (for you history buffs, there was a good bit of fighting there on the 2nd day of the Battle of Gettysburg). I made sure to go along the new paths they've cut out of the grass to see a few monuments that I haven't seen before (because they were overgrown). The whole walk has plenty of hills and we typically stick to the road. There are always plenty of animals about to admire (squirrels, chipmunks, birds, cows, and the occasional snake, deer or red fox). I got to pet a few dogs along the way (I'm not allowed to have a dog because I rent, so I'll pet one if I can!). I truly enjoyed getting out and giving my legs a challenge. It was a beautiful day.

Have a great day, everyone! I'm tempted to go do that walk again if I have time...

Happy Thursday everyone! My daughter's soccer team plays for the district championship tonight. Thankful it's a nice day today. It was cold and rainy when they played on Monday. Today is also the kids last day of school!! I only have to worry about me in the mornings now!! It's been getting light out about 5 so I may try to get a 2 mile walk done in the mornings. Tomorrow I'm going to the spinning class at the gym at 5:30 in the morning. Will have to shower at the gym and should make it to work just in time.

Hubby and I are going camping this weekend. We are just looking forward to rest and relaxation. It has just been super busy around here lately! Of course, we will be doing some hiking too!!

Haven't had much time to do any preparation, but I'll be leaving work at 11:00 on Friday. That should give us time to get everything ready. The campground is only an hour away, and we can't check in until 3 anyway.

Woke up much better today. That nap yesterday really helped! Now, to make it through two more days..

Good morning, everyone!

Vicky, I understand about the kids! Luckily, my son graduated in 2015 and my daughter graduates next year! What will be difficult will be balancing work (when I return to my position in the fall--unless I find a new job that's full time), school, my son's therapy (he has autism), and being sure that I have time for my workouts. It's going to be interesting to say the least. LOL

Today I got to take my measurements for the first time since starting back with SP... Altogether I've lost almost 3 inches already! I wish I'd lost more from my waist (only 1/2 an inch), but I did manage to lose from multiple areas. At least I can see that it's working for me even though I haven't lost any weight in about 2 weeks.

Have a great day!

~Tammy

Anastasia is beautiful!! Stinks to hear about your car.

Tammy, I loved going to school. I'm thinking about doing it when my kids get out of high school. I'm very involved in the parent groups at their school and I'm not gonna know what to do with myself!!

Hope everyone is having a great day! It's still raining here but is supposed to get back to gorgeous weather in a couple of days. It's amazing how much the weather affects my exercise motivation.

The farm wedding was just adorable!! The ceremony was outside, with cocktails and the reception in an old barn. The decor was so cute with screened windows with pictures from the couples youth. We had such a great time!!

Stopped by my daughter's on the way home yesterday to see how she was holding up. Anastasia is looking much better, and was officially taken off the billie blanket yesterday. The blanket is more of a belt. It is alternative for parents to administer at home, rather than having the babies hospitalized. The light is a neon blue. It was very hard for her to sleep with that light in her face.

I am very tired today, but made it without a nap - just too much to do! I made a fruit and chicken pasta salad for the remainder of the week lunches. Baked BBQ chicken with fire roasted veggies for dinner, along with dishes and laundry. Hoping to sleep like a rock tonight!!

On Friday, I hit a raccoon on Hwy 39 on my way to work. It damaged by front bumper and my cooling system. Called the insurance company today. Now, I wait for them to call me back. What a pain, and then the $500 deductible too!

Happy Monday Everyone! I started out this morning with a 3 mile run and I also walked a mile. I pushed myself at lunch time to get outdoors to get in another 2 mile walk. I'm hoping to make it to Zumba tonight. I try to keep myself moving so I can get in a lot of steps on my Fitbit. There are 5 more challenges this week. Have a great day everyone!

Stopping in to say hello! I'm getting my groove back. I took a walk earlier and just finished up a short workout.

I'm in the midst of trying to convince myself that I can be 41 and go to college (I never had the chance when I was younger). I've been playing with the idea for years now, and I'm scared to death of failing. I'm also afraid that I'll have to stop once I start because with my luck something in my life will change that will prevent me from finishing... Ugh! There's always something...

I hope everyone's having a great day!

I find it funny that for some things time goes much to slowly, however for others it flies by! How is it that for all my good intentions weeks have gone by since I last posted? Where did that time go? What in the world was I doing? I'm grateful that my day has brought me back. I hope everyone is doing well. I see lots of congrats on the new beautiful baby girl..and so Congrats! She is very adorable :-)

Congrats on the granddaughter Michelle! She is precious.

I didn't realize how quiet I've been on here this week.

Took my daughter and a couple of her friends to a mall that is about 40 minutes away today. I decided to stick around there instead of driving all the way home and back. Went walking around the outside of the mall then went to subway for lunch. Now sitting for a little bit until my other daughter's basketball games. 3 games tonight and the last one doesn't start until 9:45 which means it won't start until at least 10. Thank goodness it's only 10 minutes from the house!!

Been a very exhausting week. I don't handle lack of sleep well, and being up at the hospital did me no favors. I am so glad I was there, but my body wasn't....

Anastasia has developed jaundice. She has been wearing a bilie blanket for the last two days, which she does not like at all. The pictures my daughter took shows her not being impressed at all! She also has been eating some formula, since my daughter was not producing enough yet. Her milk is starting to come in, so it should come together soon.

Today, we head down to Oregon, Il for a farmhouse wedding. It will be beautiful.

Have a great day!

Tammy - I wondered the same thing! Everyone must be REALLY busy. Hang in there - sometimes the scale just likes to be stuck! You keep doing the right thing, and soon it will show again. Sodium is a culprit - I've proved that! Eating enough fiber really helps too - I did the 30-day fiber challenge, and was amazed at how little I ate before I was aware of it.

No loss or gain this week. I really think sodium's the culprit (I do track it religiously). I get to measure myself for the first time since I started this coming Wednesday so I'm excited to see if there are any changes. Right now I'm just trying not to be discouraged by the scale.

Taking a small break today because I've walked/worked out every single day since the 3rd. Maybe my body needs a one day break?

Have a wonderful Friday, everyone!

Hey!!!!!!!!! Where's all the chit-chat???

I've been keeping busy. I went and got my car taken care of today (2 new tires, oil change, etc.). After that, I went down into town and took a nice long walk in the sunshine!

Now I'm home and cooking dinner (low sodium teriyaki chicken with brown rice and veggies).

Hope everyone's doing well!

Happy Tuesday. Hope everyone is having a great week. The sun has re-appeared in my neck of the woods and I was able to get some more grapevines cut up last night. Hope to have another bag or two to go out for the garbage this week.

What a great start to my day... I actually got a 3 mile walk in this morning before 9am! It was (keyword WAS) beautiful this morning, and I took full advantage of it. Now it's back to rainy, dreary weather. I hope it clears up in a few hours. Maybe I'll throw in another walk...

I had a nice Mother's Day and allowed myself to enjoy it by going to the local Asian buffet. I never go overboard at buffets anyway, but I really watched what I was doing and didn't end up too far over my calorie goal for the day. Either way, I know how to work it off and I'll get it done. I know I can't stop enjoying the foods I like. That would make me miserable. As long as I do it responsibly, I'm good to go!

I can't believe I'm finally making this happen (again). This time I'm going to make it stick...

Have a great day, all!

~Tammy

Happy Mother's Day to all,

I had a very special mother's day thanks to my hubby and kids. I spent the day relaxing and just enjoying the sun. Hubby gave me the day off and I didn't have to do one single thing. He even made sure I didn't go over my calories too. He brought a veggie tray for us to enjoy and he made baked ziti for dinner. Hope everyone else had a nice time too.

I love making new spark friends, so please feel free to drop me a line and say hello. Keep the spark going..

Happy Mother's Day everyone! Hope everyone gets spoiled rotten today! I plan on going walking in a couple of minutes. It's supposed to rain here this afternoon so I need to get her done! I also need to get a little more carpet cleaning done today. This has become a chore!

I love seeing all the chit chat here lately.

Happy Mother's Day! emoticon

Made a Blueberry Almond Coffee Cake this morning for breakfast. It is one of my favorites! No plans for the day so far. Going to start some pork chops in the slow cooker, and also would like to make some banana quinoa bars.

Enjoy the beautiful day!

Got you, Michelle! Thanks!

Happy Mother's Day to all of our awesome Momma's!

I think we may be going out for dinner tonight, so I'm a bit nervous. At the same time, I have every intention of getting out and walking today. So at least I know I'll fight off some of the extra calories I might take in. I'll just have to work them off all week I guess!

Got my 10,000 steps in yesterday so that made me happy!

Caster oil? Yuck! You're right. When Anastasia's ready, she'll let Momma know!!!

Got a short walk in so far this morning. The rain has finally stopped (if only for several hours), so I'm taking advantage of it! I plan to go out for at least one more walk between taking my daughter to work and picking up my guy from his 12 hour shift. I can't wait to get him a new car! Ugh! I guess that's one good thing about being laid off. I'm around to get them to where they need to go... *sigh*

I'm still using my Fitbit and loving it. If anyone else out there uses it and wants to add me as a FB friend to do challenges, feel free. You can add me by putting in my email address: imasillymomma@gmail.com

My daughter tried the castor oil last night. Made it a whole five minutes before throwing it up. It will happen when it is meant to. No need for her to stress about it and get her hopes up. Live it day to day.

It is another beautiful day! Hubby is working on the yard today with picking up sticks and mowing. I will be finishing up the baby bedding. I think I am finally rested up (and not busy), so I should be able to at least finish the bumper.

Making a buttermilk beef roast for dinner with carrots and potatoes for dinner. Hoping to also get an outside walk in with hubby!

Been in a snacking rut lately. I snacked a couple of days last week, ate good for 5 days, and snacking for two days again......

What a gorgeous day! It got to 90 degrees here!! Love summer! Tomorrow, it will near 70, but I enjoyed the summer-like temps today all the same!

No news from my daughter yet. She is debating on taking some castor oil - weighing pros and cons...
I have a wedding to go to next weekend. I had originally thought we could not attend if she didn't have the baby by then. I realized today, that it is the same distance to Madison from home and from the wedding. So, we will go unless she goes into labor that morning.

Not as tired this weekend, so I did not need a 7 hour nap.....LOL Hubby and I are going for a later dinner. It will be nice to enjoy each other's company this evening :)

I have not posted in a few days but everything is going good. I am still trying to eat a low acid diet. The heartburn and pain in chest seems a little better but still cannot pin point what causes it - maybe it is just everything. Who know. It has been raining all week and I am so ready to see the sun shine - but looks like I will have to wait a few more days. I did get three big construction bags full of grapevines out of the garbage this week. If the rain stops next week I should be able to get the last big pile cut up and out for garbage. I wish that would be the end of my yard work but it is just the beginning of what has to be done.

Hope everyone has a great weekend - and Happy Mother's day to you and and yours!

Way to go Tammy! That is so exciting.

As for the FB, I too, have unsynced it from SP and just manually enter my fitness. I didn't like how it accounted for the exercise, and found it too generous with calories burned, and I'd rather err on the side of caution! Not fooling anyone but myself, and the scale is ruthlessly honest anyhow!

Michelle, here's hoping your daughter doesn't have too much longer to wait. One comfort is that no-one stayed pregnant forever (although sometimes it seems like it!).

Have a great weekend everyone.

Crystal, I know what you mean! Every moment that there's a break in the rain I'm trying to get out and walk! There's a chance of rain here every day for the next two weeks! It's discouraging. I don't know if you're walking the hallway at work or at home... Have you tried any walking workouts at home? I use those even on days that I'm able to walk outside. Look up Leslie Sansone on YouTube if you're interested. She has several of her workouts on there for free.

As for the Fitbit, I LOVE IT!!!! It's tracking everything perfectly from what I can see. It's interesting seeing how restless I am when I sleep. I can see why I always feel so tired. Of course I'm watching closely to see how it handles my workouts vs calorie intake, but so far, I have no complaints.

I've managed to lose 3 more pounds, so I'm ecstatic!!!! I'm looking forward to ONEderland and I know I can get there.

Have a great day, everyone!

It's been raining all week and I'm in withdrawals. I can't get my walks in and my system is starting to get cranky about it. I've been doing laps in the hallway but it's not the same. emoticon

I find the steps to be accurate. I do not track sleep or nutrition on it. I used to sync it with Spark, but I was allowed too many calories to eat for my steps and ended up gaining weight. I just log my walks :)

No baby...
My daughter's body is preparing, but labor is not starting yet.

Enjoying a taco salad for dinner tonight to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Glad tomorrow is Friday. I had a hard time falling asleep last night. I think I am concerned about my daughter, or wondering if she is going to call. One more day...

It was such a beautiful sunny day. I sat outside for lunch to soak up that sun, and breathe the fresh air!

I have heard both good and bad with the fitbit. Is it accuate? I have had people say that it says they only got 4 hours sleep when they slept all night. I was debating whether to get one. I had one of the spark things but it really was a waste for me. It only worked if I kept it on my shoe while I was doing stuff and remembered to always take it with me. The battery would go dead and it would not work. So I just stopped using it over a year ago. It also would mess up my tracker when I was trying to track other things on Spark so it would look like I would doing double in some areas and not enough in other areas because it would automatically track to my tracker so when I tried to track say zumba it would track walking for calories burned. Very annoying.

Tammy, I have a fitbit. I love it. It helps motivate me to get my butt up and moving.

Both my girls are busy after school today so I'm going to get a good walk in after I get off work. Think I'll hit the park and walk until I need to pick my youngest up.

Tammy - you will LOVE your Fitbit! It is the best purchase I've ever made. Splurged on myself just barely into this journey (over a year ago now) and it has become a part of me. I don't go anywhere without it. Absolutely love it - it's like having your own personal trainer! I just have the FB One, and clip it to my bra. My hubby has the HR Charge, and loves it. Mine doesn't register the HR, but that's okay. I have been known to race up and down the stairs a few times before bed, just to get my 10 flights in! Or do laps around the house to get my 10k in! IT WORKS!!

I love the name Anastasia!!!

I did buy myself a Fitbit Charge HR today. When I used SP years ago I wanted a heart rate monitor so badly so that I could see if I was reaching a high enough heart rate to actually do any good for my weight loss efforts. My ex-husband kept telling me no. Now that he's not around... I got one! This thing is fantastic so far. I just need to figure out how to only track my workouts on SP and not every bit of walking I do (steps, yes... but I don't think walking to the bathroom from my living room should count as cardio...LOL).

Went for a walk this evening with my honey in the misty rain that is *still* here. I'm so tired of the rain! I can't even walk my full walking path because part of it is now a mud hole. So, 1/2 mile of walking is cut out of my walk until I can figure out another route to go to make up for it.

I'm really looking forward to walking down on the battlefield once the rain moves out of the area.

Hope you all had a great day!

~Tammy

Tammy - I have a fitbit, and love it. I have one of the older ones, so it is not a bracelet style. I have friends who use those, and love them too.

Ended up being a beautiful day, warmer than I expected. Heard it rain last night, but roads were dry on my way to work until I hit the Stevens Point area.

My daughter had cramping after her procedure yesterday, but they stopped overnight. They started back up around 2 this afternoon, and they are a bit stronger than they were. She also believes the "bloody show" was released today. All signs that we could be meeting Anastasia soon. Hopefully, sooner. She is so miserable.

Came home this morning to wash my sheets. My cat, Zeus picked this morning to puke all over my bed as I was getting ready for work. All because he ate so fast, he didn't even chew his food. Not the way to start your day.... But, it is over and done. And who doesn't love fresh sheets to crawl into!

Enjoy your evening!

I went for a morning walk, I thought I would take the route I took yesterday and see how much further down this road I could get today. This road goes on foreeeeeever ( in my mind anyways.) So here I am starting my journey ten minutes into the journey I look over across the street and see this park. Thinking to myself hmmm never noticed this before, let me go check it out. I get cross the street and up the stairs and what do you know it's a park with a HUGE walking trail. So, on go the tunes ( Today it was Michael Jackson and Trace Adkins) and off I go walking. Long story short, when I walked back through my front door it had been 92 minutes and 9292 steps and 3.7 miles. I would say day is starting out great. Now time for some lunch and shower and not necessarily in that order.

Yesterday was a total mess. I was able to stay within my calorie range, but I really need to do something about my sodium intake. I know that can seriously alter the pounds on the scale (I tend to gain 3 pounds from excessive sodium--water retention). It goes away, but it's still discouraging.

I didn't get my workout in, or any walking. I was too busy running to appointments and having my son's therapist here. It was raining (again) so the whole day was just gloomy and miserable.

I'm making sure I get my workout in today, and my meals are already planned as usual. I'll be going grocery shopping later for a few lower sodium food options.

Does anyone here use a Fitbit? I'm seriously considering picking one up today... What do you think of it?

Was a bit more tired today, but I always did have a hard time on Tuesdays... Lifted boxes at work,so I got my exercise in.

My daughter had her procedure this afternoon - a more invasive stripping of the membranes. She is now, at home cleaning. She is trying to stay moving to help it along. Hopefully, it will work for her.

Rain is coming soon for this area, so that could be good sleeping weather :)

Won a $20 Best Buy gift certificate at work today. I think I will save it for another "goal" incentive! They draw names for prizes when there are no loss time injuries. Nice incentive to stay safe.

Enjoy your night!

Hope everyone is having a great day! Michelle, we'll be thinking of your daughter today.

I almost forgot my daughter has drum lesson this afternoon. That means I get to walk on the track while she's there!! Planning on pushing myself and work on getting 2 miles in 30 minutes.

Had a great Monday, full of energy and no nap needed! WhooHoo!! Drank my tea when I got home and did some chores around the house. Also made a new twist on a tuna salad from Spark. Looks yummy and low calorie too!!

My daughter's procedure is tomorrow afternoon, so we will see what happens.

Ended up being a nice day in the 60's with the sun peeking in and out. Tomorrow will be warmer, but 80% chance for rain.

Hope all is well. Need to stay on my schedule so that I get the rest I need!

If you go to the site on your smartphone and not the app site you can check your teams that way. However sometimes when you try it keeps trying to take you to the mobile app. Sometimes I can and sometimes I can't from my phone.

The app is a very basic version of the site. They don't have the ability to visit teams on it yet.

However.... If you are able to access the internet on your phone through a browser, you should have access to the full site (or the option to use the full site). Maybe try that way instead?

I have very little time when I get home to post or track my efforts. My phone has an app on it for SP but I can't figure out how to get to my team page from it. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

So happy to see the May challenges up! I didn't join the last one because it was so late in the month. Now if the rain will just stop so I can go walk... I don't want to do a home workout today, but I will if I must.

What does everyone else do for their workouts? I'm still in my beginning stages, so I'm resorting to what worked for me before... Leslie Sansone's walk at home workouts and/or walking outdoors along with strength training.

So glad I don't have to go anywhere today. Just going to work on cleaning my house. My goal is to get the floors mopped and clean the carpet in one room today.

MPotter, I know what you mean about the gloomy weather and the sinuses! I have trigeminal neuralgia that is brought on by sinus issues, so I have to take my Flonase and other allergy meds daily.

It's been raining on a daily basis here, and we're not supposed to have a rain-free day until around the 7th.

As for your need for a little kick--why not try vitamin water? I drink Glaceau brand zero calorie water daily. Revive (fruit punch flavor) has added potassium that may help give you the energy boost you need. I also love their XXX (acai blueberry). Just make sure the bottle says "zero" on it if you want no calories.

This morning I discovered https://jog.fm/ and I'm hooked! I'm not sure if anyone else knows about this site (I'm sure some do), but you can create playlists for your walking, running or cycling set to your own pace. It's free (woohoo!!!!) as long as you already have your music. So, I've been making walking playlists all morning. LOL Now that I have a record player, I can dig out all of my Dad's old 45's and put them onto my laptop and use them as well. I even pulled out my old CD's and made a few with them. Now I just need to put them onto my phone and away I will go. I love having music for my workouts! They do have the option to use iTunes or Amazon to purchase your songs, though.

I'm trying to keep myself busy because my guy started a new job where he's stuck working 12 hour shifts every weekend. Since we're sharing my car, he has it so I'm not able to go anywhere unless I walk. Sadly I'm on the outskirts of town so it is a 3 hour (not to mention tick-filled) walk to get to the battlefield. I'll just be walking around my little neck of the woods.

Have a great day, everyone!

~Tammy

Another gloomy day in Wisconsin. My sinuses are feeling a bit better, but this wet, damp weather is not helping. It is supposed to get near the 70's later this week, so hopefully....

I plan on walking every other day this week and see how I do. The last time I walked every day, it wore me out. Not sure if it was too much too fast, or my sinuses. I think it is best to ease into it for now.

Bought some Imperial Acai Blueberry White Tea at Teavana yesterday that has a higher caffeine content. My plan is to have a cup when I get home from work to try and spike my energy a bit. It would be so much healthier than drinking a can of soda!

Today is grocery shopping and errands. Making something quick and easy for dinner, and I don't need to make new lunches until tomorrow night. Going to try another Spark recipe. The spinach pasta salad I made last week was very good, and I enjoyed it very much! Salad season :)

Have a great day!

Tammy congrats on the loss!! I think you sent me your rain. It's storming here.

Sandy, glad you are feeling better!

I'm taking it easy tonight. Been a busy last 2 days. I've worked at my kids school a total of 12 hours in the last 2 days. I'm beat but our event was a success!! Tomorrow I'm going to start cleaning the carpets in my house. Don't really want to but they are overdue.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!!

Thank you, Sheleen! I just figure there's no way I'm going to win this battle if I'm going to doubt myself all the time. I know that I can do this, and so can anyone else. Attitude is very important because some days the only one there to pick you up when you're down is yourself!

Now that you've got me thinking, I may just go and type on my blog a bit. LOL

Thanks again!
