Agreed, weigh in once a week, same time, same day. Weight changes every minute of the day. It does get depressing and confusing if you weigh in too often.
Good luck!

I've been weighing in every Wednesday at work for a company version of The Biggest Loser. I'm feeling a little down today since I gained almost 2 pounds since last week!

Oh well, this will only push me to exercise more and drink more water.

I've noticed that I really have to work extra hard to stay below 160 lbs, even though I know I'm losing inches... emoticon

Especially when you first start, weigh in once a week, same time, same day. Weighing every day is more helpful when you're trying to maintain.

Doing my best...one day at a time.

I agree with Njordgal. I find the daily weigh-ins depressing. Going up and down is normal. I try to weigh myself at about the same time/day every week.

I weigh in weekly - there are too many little variations in your weight during the week.

Hello. I just joined Saturday so EVERYTHING is confusing for me. I've always weighed myself everyday and then figured out my average at the end of the week. Do you all think this is a good idea? or should I weigh in 1x a week?

Jennifer
