I'm somewhat glad I didn't have a scale when I started this past week. I think it will take my body a little time to really get going into fat burning mode... it might think it's starving right now LOL!
So I just ordered a new scale, but I'm not going to weigh myself til about 2 weeks in so I can see a little progress and not get discouraged that I've been doing all this for nothing.
I know it's not for nothing, and I know i'm going to lose this weight. Sometimes I wish the time would go faster so I could see it coming off, but it's gonna take time. I am just trying to build up strength and stamina, not pushing myself too hard exercising... like yesterday my back started to act up before I could go out for my walk. I've walked every day this week, I'm not going to hurt myself over missing one day... if I do I'll miss a lot more than a day.
I'm happy I got my exercise ball so I can do some physical therapy type stuff inside too, and that will help on rainy days. The weather is still flipping back and forth, sometimes it's hot sometimes it's cold and windy or rainy. I can't wait for it to stay warm, even if it's too hot I'm looking forward to walking at night.
Well my non-scale victory this week, is actually getting out and walking everyday. Even one day I really didn't want to, later on I got motivated and went out anyways.
