I said in the Daily Chat room, but I'll repeat it because it has worked SO well for me...I threw the recumbant bike between the armchair and the loveseat-smack dab across from the television. I do about 30 minutes a day most days.
As for tracking your food, get you some measuring cups and measuring spoons and USE them until you can accurately eyeball it. I have found since doing that (again) that one serving often REALLY is enough, especially if I am drinking plenty of water.
Another thing that has helped me is Spark's "Portion Distortion" article. www.sparkpeople.com/resource/nutrition_art
Give it a browse and refer to it often. It will help so much with accurately tracking. Start using sparkrecipes.com for ideas of what to cook. I posted a recipes thread in here somewhere, I think, with links to some of my own successful creations, but it has TONS, and it has really been a hit with my pickypicky kids and their daddy! There are really some great recipes to help you out and basically trick your family into eating healthier.
Anything else I can help you with? I'm not a team leader, but I'm almost always on the computer during the day.
