I have decided to commit to an Ultra Mini Triathlon scheduled for June 2013. This triathlon consists of 1/8 mile swim, 3 mile bike ride, and 1/2 mile run. . well at 355 pounds, I am NOT a runner. . yet.
But I want to be! So I need some advice. What would be a good routine for a beginner jogger? Most of the jogging links I found said to walk for 3 minutes to warm up, jog for 1 minute or as long as I can, then walk another 3 minutes and to do this 2 times a day.
Does that sound good or do you suggest somethign else?
Also, how do you muffle that LOUD belly flap sound?
