This is a tough question right now I am not motivated in much, but I do wake up in the morning and tell myself that no matter what I am going to keep a positive attitude. And over time my quality of like has gotten better. Now I just need to get into a routine with work, school and working out but that can be tough with rotating shifts! Just keep pushing forward!
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.

I have a picture of myself when I was around 200 pounds. . my goal weight. I wasn't skinny like a supermodel but I looked and felt healthy. That picture is on my fridge where I have to look at it everytime I open the fridge door. The Spark Book talks about visualizing your goal. So everyday, I imagine what my life would be like if I was at my goal weight. I visualize myself doing things I want to do but can't do it now because of my weight. This only takes a few minutes of my time and after I do it, I feel motivated and my mood instantly changes. One thing I found out is that anything negative in my life can cause issues for me in my journey. I keep good company. I stay away from downers, drama starters, and anyone or anything that makes me feel uncomfortable. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

SSCHLAMAN - That is a great idea. I have a couple other reasons and some are not important to most people but for me it is. I an determined to lose the weight before i'm 40. Secondly, I want to be healthy and lastly, I want the new iPhone, I figured i'd wait until like February to ge it....to get one without bugs. Don't hit my goals by then I can't have it.....

Today I was thinking about how I will stay motivated losing weight. My plan is to take a pair of my snug jeans and in a week I am going to write on them a inspirational saying or qoute. Every week until I hit my goal I will write something on them to remind myself of the reasons I am here trying to lose weight.I will never wear them again so I might as well get some use out of them. :)
