I have a picture of myself when I was around 200 pounds. . my goal weight. I wasn't skinny like a supermodel but I looked and felt healthy. That picture is on my fridge where I have to look at it everytime I open the fridge door.
The Spark Book talks about visualizing your goal. So everyday, I imagine what my life would be like if I was at my goal weight. I visualize myself doing things I want to do but can't do it now because of my weight. This only takes a few minutes of my time and after I do it, I feel motivated and my mood instantly changes.
One thing I found out is that anything negative in my life can cause issues for me in my journey. I keep good company. I stay away from downers, drama starters, and anyone or anything that makes me feel uncomfortable.
