I'm way late but I had a similar weekend planend for Mother's Day and my anniversary 2 days later. I ended up doing ok ... how about you? I went over on my Anniversary but it was a planned splurge and I was right back on track the next day!

While you are there... take in the moment. Don't concentrate so much on the food, but the company. Enjoy every moment, conversation, the atmosphere. Eat slowly. That will give your tummy a chance to tell your brain that you're full. Drink plenty of water. It's so easy to drink your calories, especially when your glass is constantly being refilled, so water is such a smart choice. Have a good time! Food is not your enemy, it is your fuel!

Well, you are already thinking about it, so you know you want to do good. Just keep trying to pre-plan. Look up Red Lobsters web site and see if they have the nutritional info on there. Don't use butter, and stay away for the cheddar bay biscuits?? For the Buffet, again if you know what is on there, write it out and decide what you will have, then it is not a guessing game and confusion that leads to eating anything.

Eat before you go and drink your water. I always eat a salad before I do so I am filled up. Then I make the best choices of what is offered. I know it is hard! Try and keep your reasons for why you want to lose weight in your forethought so you don't overindulge. Have a good time!

I am worth all the hard work that I put into my journey for myself and my family.

Happy Friday everyone! I am looking forward to this weekend...but it is going to be a big eating weekend and still don't know if I trust myself with food yet. I am getting taken out to dinner to my favorite restuarant (Red Lobster!) tomorrow for my birthday and then Sunday to a Mother's Day brunch BUFFET. The buffet makes me the most nervous. Can I control myself????? Any advise on what you do especially with buffets would be appreciated!
