When I feel that I am getting in to a funk I like to do something creative and crafty. I love to knit and make my own cards. That always helps.

Sure! Sometimes when I finish my walk, I just feel like going back to bed. I don't feel refreshed and rejuvenated. But I remind myself that even though I don't feel like I did anything great, I did. And my body thanks me for it, even if not in the overwhelming ways I'd like.

Hope you figure out a way to make it a better experience for you!

Yes in fact just had one of those days yesterday! Called my friend and we met for a tea and a long walk. It helped me feel better and get out of my funk!

Yep. The worst is when I figure I should try on my snug jeans because I've lost weight and they still don't fit. My best fix - listen to some good music and focus on the positives. I'm also trying to make an effort to read some blogs each day. It's one thing to know other people are dealing with the same problem and another to read it in their own words. If they can do it, so can I!

Of course..but I find it a lot easier to handle things through exercise and prayer. You are strong and you CAN handle it.

Yes, I do get to a feeling of being"underwhelmed" or "de-motivated" lots of times if I don't take care! I find that the minute I let myself walk into a situation that I haven't already planned in my head before I do, I feel as if I have 'wasted' my time. An exercise class that I had never been to turned out to be just perfect! I had previously met the instructor for a cram style session with some friends, that turned out great-I tried her official class and was then satisfied. Maybe the class that you tried was just not structured enough? Maybe not the right intensity? Perhaps you need a different style class to spice things up a bit?!! When I get to that "funky" period..... I practice mindfulness: how do I feel at the specific moment? Am I cool...warm...excited? This may sound quirky to you, but it works!! Do I feel like a success today? Blessings on your journey!

I have been doing really good with my diet and workouts lately. Lost 4 pounds last week! I am even trying to try new things, break out of my shell. Thus me posting this topic. I used to be outgoing and not scared of anyone. The last few years I lost that so now I am taking "me" back. Tonight I went to a new hip hop dance class and now feel...underwhelmed. I thought I would be pumped up afterwards. I'm not sure if it was a combination of not being comfortable or not the workout I was expecting.

Just wondering what any one does when they feel underwhelmed? What do you do to get outta that funk?

Besides..eat...or go to bed too early LOL those don't seem to be working for me.
