for super quick tacos I have used the canned chicken chunks (found near the tuna). not sure what the calorie count is on them, but they are fast & easy.

A protein shake or smoothie is quick! You can use frozen fruit is you don't have fresh on hand. I use low-fat silk chocolate milk with biggest loser chocolate whey protein, 1/2 banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, and 14 ice cubes. Blend and a few minutes later you have a healthy filling shake!! And it's not too chocolatey either.

It's generally more of a breakfast food, but I've been known to have a bowl of oatmeal for lunch or dinner if I'm rushing. Also, there are some frozen dinners that aren't too bad nutritiously. I don't like them because I don't feel full after eating them, but my wife will eat them occasionally.

With you on my team and me on yours we are bound to succeed!

That's an excellent question...there's so little that you an store indefinitely. One of our "quicker" meals is tacos. And if you use ground turkey breast instead of beef if lowers the fat and calories and increases the protein. Of course, it still takes about 10 minutes, not the 5 you're looking for. But the taco kits I purchase at the store will last awhile. You would just have to run out and get the turkey and any toppings (lettuce, cheese, tomato, etc.) unless that's also stuff you keep in the fridge on a regular basis.

It is attitude, not circumstance, that makes success possible in even the most unlikely conditions.

Does any one have some favorite standbys that take 5 minutes or less to make and the ingredients can be stored?

I need some quick meal ideas that are extremely quick but filling. I am end of the school year get everything done RIGHT NOW busy. I haven't really been cooking too much. I'm still making it to the gym, thank god. I'm just looking for something new I can keep on hand.
