Just started yesterday, but here is my check in:

Beginning Weight (2/1/16): 205
Today (2/2/16): 202.6

I am sure that the difference is simply water weight or waste at this point, but it is still encouraging to see a lower number on the scale!

Hopefully, I will continue to see steady progress over time. Just have to stick to my plan!

2/01/16 - 274.8 (-2.5 = -15.9) 30 minute walk this morning included 8 minutes of a 4 mph jog. Slow and steady.
1/25/16 - 277.3 (-2.8 = -13.4) Sticking with it!
1/18/16 - 280.1 (-3.5 = -10.6) Adding in 20 minute morning walks 3 times a week.
1/12/16 - 283.6 (-7.1) Started with 20 minute evening walks 5 times a week.
1/05/16 - 290.7 Finally told the guy my scale number. That was tough, but hopefully it will help me be more accountable. Hoping to drop 100 pounds by January 4 2017. Setting smaller goals to focus on daily that will eventually get me to completing my big goal.

I have been too discouraged by the upward trend in my weight to post, but the tides have turned!

I am finally starting to see a downward trend! I am so excited! I've known I was losing inches, as I've gone down from wearing an 18/20 depending on the day to fitting a 16 pretty reliably, but the scale has been hard to get to shift.

i am just getting back on sparkpeople.com, and love to motivae people by giving encouragement and support..
I go to Tops, and it really has helped.. it makes me accountable and i lost 8 pounds on monday.. I feel great and i am willing to help out anyone.. I am currently at 198.8.

Started 1/5/16 at 290.7. Trying not to think about how very far I have to go and concentrating more on making it to the end of each day on track. Not sure exactly where I want to end up, down to 200 at least and completing a half marathon. Also getting married this fall or next spring and want to feel great when I walk down the isle. First goal is 25 pounds down with a reward of a new outfit. Started on healthy eating habits last week, so far so good. This week I've added in 20 minute walks 5 days a week. Small monthly competition with my office gals to help motivate me as well. Fingers crossed 2016 will be my year!

My first weekly weigh-in, this being the end of my first week on SparkPeople. 1/7: 214 pounds. A 4.5 pound gain. I'm devastated, but I'm going to keep at it! No point in doing this work only to get discouraged the second I put on a little water weight!

I have been avoiding the scale and haven't stepped on it since Thanksgiving...

Stayed the same 207.8 as of today.
