I have come and gone on here as well, I am the worst for keeping myself motivated but at the same time Im tired of starting over! I have about 20 lbs to lose myself (baby weight from 2 years ago lol) Its time!! Best of luck to you, you can do it!!
I hear ya, sister! I have been on and off SparkPeople for several years. I had a baby nearly 7 months ago and PPD coupled with a miserable job have made it difficult for me to lose the last bit of baby weight. I am both an emotional and a boredom eater and even though exercise is supposed to help your mood I sometimes find myself without the mental strength to get up and move. Yesterday, however, I left work at lunch to try a new cardio interval class, and I am really glad that I did. I enjoyed the workout and the instructor. I'm sore today and feel good!

That sounds a lot like my story and goals too, good luck on your journey! I'm working hard on tracking my food, it's definitely the one thing that I have always done when I've successfully lost weight in the past and it's working well so far :) good luck!

I'm no stranger to spark people, I discovered it years ago and have come and gone over time, but this is probably the worst off I've been. My last job, combined with a lot of stress in my personal life, left me with nearly 30 extra pounds packed onto my frame. I managed to kick the old job to the curb, and have started taking steps to improve my health once again - for me this time!
It's been difficult, but I know I can do it, which is what brought me back here. I need to be tracking what I'm eating again, because I KNOW that's been a huge part in my current weight and how difficult it's been to lose it. Lack of physical activity isn't helping anything either :/ but I've implemented steps to help ensure that is less of an issue as well!
So far I've lost a tad over 10 pounds since I started my new job...that still leaves me with a solid 20 to go. Plus, that loss has been VERY slow - I started the new job in mid October 2013. Yes, there's been progress, but I'm finally determined that managing my weight and health is worthy of a top priority on my list again! I've settled into the job, my personal life is quiet and I'm ready to get my body back!
