Hello, My name is Crystal, and I'm a food-aholic. :) I was doing really well, putting in extra exercise daily with a challenge on Facebook, and then something happened (most likely stress) and the next thing I knew I was eating late-night cupcakes and fast food after work, so the 5lbs I lost and confidence I had gained went down the tube. So, here I am again, starting over AGAIN. I completed a 5k charity walk this past weekend, and you guessed it, the pictures are up for all to see. HOLY COW... that's what I look like, a cow. We all view ourselves in the mirror differently, and the pictures shock you. So I guess I was shocked back into fitness-mode. The problem is, I need encouragement. I'm all alone over here with no one to exercise with let alone give praising comments. So if anyone wants to be my personal buddy on this one, I won't say no. Maybe someone who is a mama like me (I have 17 month old twin boys... need I say more?) or who understands what it's like to have crazy kids, no money, and a lot on her plate. I have 20 pounds to lose by Christmas! HELP!
I'm Alexis and I am also getting "back on board" this month, looking to lose 10 lbs., so I am happy to have a place to check in and get some needed motivation and accountability! After eating terribly this past weekend, I've had a great week with my eating. Also got to the gym 3 times already this week. Glad to have a place to connect!

Hi, is this board active? I'm getting revved up again on SparkPeople and would like to find some active users to check in with. I've got the month of September off from work and want to make it my "get healthy" month. I have 10 lbs to lose. I am not sure I can lose it all in a month, but I think I can do 5 this month, and hopefully carry my progress forward when I head back to work. Anyone out there?

Thank you! Yes, motivation and accountability are key for me -- I get so busy and then whoosh the day is gone before I even got to think about what I ate or log on. I have the same problem too with the staying on track! Thanks for being there and we can be buddies! I need to log in what I did yesterday and so far today! Seeing your post come through made me realize I didn't get on at all yesterday! Thank you!

Hey FITMAMA246! I am new on SP, started 3 days ago. I"m turning 38 next month and really wants to lose a good 12-15 pounds. I plan to be here online everyday to stay motivated (my main problem to stay on track!) so if you are looking for a buddy here I am!!

Hello! I have just signed up again! I have tried over the past few years (about 4) to lose at least 10 to 15 pounds and have yet to have done it. I am 33 years old, 135 pounds at 5' 3" and would like to at least see the scale budge a little and be able to keep at it. I can do well for about 2 or 3 weeks and then it all goes down hill and then I restart. Hoping this is my one time that I can make it happen. The older I get the harder it becomes! Looks like you all are doing well and the ones that are just starting like I am, I hope and encourage you to be able to do it. I guess I just need encouragement and accountability. Thank you.
