I ski (not too bad considering I started in my 30's.

I tried snowboarding a few years ago, with very little success. But now that I'l getting more comfortable with skiing and that I'm learning to longboard, I may give it another try sometime.

What I really want to do when I'll be a better skier is ski touring.

I've only ever been twice. Central Texas is not an easy place to live sometimes. :)

I went to the Santa Fe area to learn - Sippapu - then on to Taos for a couple days. And most recently, a three-day trip to Lake Tahoe, where we were at Homewood for all three days.

I want to try CO sometime, but I don't know how long the season is and my schedule this spring is a little busy.

Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day.

Snowboarding YES!
I atcually have only been out once this season which is pretty weak-sauce. I have some days off coming up here and its definately on the agenda.
Where do you ride?

I've never snowboarded before, I'm too afraid of falling on my face with my legs all locked in like that. Have a great time and dont overdo it on hot chocolates at the lodge!

So I'm getting ready for a snowboarding trip next week and I looked around on SP for a snowboarding team to get me in the mood for carving or shredding or falling down on my butt a lot...and there ISN'T one! Anybody else on here think there might be a need for one? Anyone else board? Even a little (I went once and it took 3 days for me to get off the bunny hill and on to a slope....)
