I think new clothes are definitely a great reward for weight loss. It's a great motivator plus you need new/new to you things that actually fit!

Speaking of clothes, this is a cheap reward for me: I have pants from 3 years ago, 5 years ago, 8 years ago, that still look great and that I'll fit into again sometime soon :)

I should hit the Goodwill to see if I can find some things because smaller clother are great (just switched to Medium tops!) but it is getting pricey.

I'd say that the best reward is new clothes that I can fit into. Even if it means shopping at Goodwill because I have to buy so many of them and can't afford to spend like 500 dollars everytime I change sizes! That is the best reward though. Either that or just trying on new clothes. Or even looking for a new goal clothing item to keep me going! Having outfits for goals are fantastic because when you finally fit into them, you feel like you accomplished something big!

Weight as of 1/11/13 - 175.6
1st goal 168 lbs on 2/1/13 -
2nd goal 165 lbs on 2/14/13 - Valentine's Day!
3rd goal 162 lbs on 3/1/13 -
4th goal 158 lbs on 4/1/13 -
Final goal 155 lbs on 5/1/13 - My birthday month!

I like buying new clothes for even small changes in size because it makes me feel soooooo much better not to wear baggy clothes...so I shop at Goodwill when I'm losing. I get a reward and it's usually pretty cheap ($6 jeans! It's crazy!)

Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day.

Rewatrds are a good idea! I need to come up with some for myself too.

I do have one, though, the one that I'm going to crack first:

When I get below 100 kilos I will reward myself with a massage.

I don't want to start buying clothes and stuff like that before I've lost a bit more...maybe when I get down to 90 kilos?

I have thought of putting the money I would otherwise have used on sodas and sweets in a jar or something...and then just use it whenever I want. I think it would add up rather quickly.

After thinking about it more for a bit, I think I know one thing I want to do for a small reward:

When I drop below 130 and stay below at the next weekly weigh-in, I get a pedicure. And maybe even a manicure, who knows.

Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day.

Food is what I like to reward myself with, but that's not going to work anymore... :(

I guess what I have to have as my reward is being able to wear stuff I haven't been able to wear in years when I go on my trip to Germany in June.

I'm going to get another tattoo this year...but I haven't decided what I have to do to make that.

It will have to be big - maybe actually making 115lbs and staying within 3 lbs of that for a month? Or finally getting my bench press and overhead press to a better number? Or make it something behavioral like no booze for 6 months?

Still debating that one.

Don't feel bad at all. My reward system is to allow myself a certain $ amount when I complete one of my challenges. (not simple ones either, had to bust my bum on them)

That way if I am out and see something I really want I know I have the money set aside. Be it a bunch of new clothes or a day at the spa.

Of course I completed my challenges 2 years ago and still haven't dipped into the fund. Maybe my tastes are too expensive and should consider setting up some more challenges emoticon

You'll know your reward the moment you see it.

well, I actually have a few pairs of jeans that I will be able to wear again someday, this will probably bring me more satisfaction than buying now stuff. I need to find something else.

If I can afford them, new clothes are one of my favorite rewards. Replacing shabby, worn out, and baggy items, with new flattering ones is Very motivating to me.

I've noticed that some of you have a list of goal weights and presents they're going to offer themselves when reached.

I've started thinking about mine and I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING.

How sad is that? Is it my sub-conscience telling me I don't really believe I can do it?

(I do have an history of not sticking around here that long... But I always come back emoticon )
