Don't beat yourself up over it. It is hard to start exercise. I have read that most exercise is cumulative throughout the day. What may help you stay on track is to do a mini workout more often throughout the day. (Even if its a five minute walk, or 1 set of pushups, or squats.) If you do even one of those miniworkouts, you will not feel so bad about not accomplishing all of it. Plus, miniworkouts help you alter your behavior because you are doing said behavior more often, thus supporting making a habit. Also, today is a new day. Go get em!! I'm rooting for you.
I did no exercising today. And now that's its the end of the day I'm feeling pretty terrible about it. I kept telling myself all day.. ok I need to at least get a long brisk walk in or even ride the bike for a while. But nope! I really hate when I do this.
Does anyone else have these kind of days? I can honestly say, I have a hard time staying on track with the exercising sometimes.
