something you might want to try to put things in perspective, measure out the amount of sugar that is in one 1 liter bottle of Mt. Dew. It's disgusting!! Here's what I found:
Mountain Dew 1 L (34 oz) Bottle Sugars, total: 124g Calories, total: 440 Calories from sugar: 440 If you drink 2 of those a day???? That's 880 calories from straight sugar!!!!! Think about that for a little while. That works for me!!! Good Luck!!! You can say no to it.
I joined Isagenix and have not touched coffee or Diet Coke in 10 days...and I have LOVED both for over 10 years. I jump out of bed and MAKE IT...where I used to hit snooze and cry for more rest. I have kids from 1-13 years so it was a hard move to make...but SOO worth it!

I have cut way back on Diet Coke by only buying the 2 liter bottles. I always prefered the cans. If you have a distaste for cans try only buying cans. Decide that it is not allowed in the fridge to decrese the draw. One of my favorites that works for me on any eating or drinking habit is to set a self rule that if I want said item, I have to eat 2-3 sticks of jimica first. I buy it and precut into sticks just for such self teaching times. It is healthy and I cant stand the stuff! Discovered this trick on accident when I bought it on the reccomendation of a friend who loves it. Felt bad for wasting it so I made myself eat it first when I wanted cookies, brownies or ice cream. Figured if I was so hungry then I would eat anything, even jimica. If not I must not need anything after all. It lasted 2 weeks the first time and I ate a whole lot fewer sweets. Good luck!
OI! That's a hard one...I stopped cold turkey....BUT my motivation was knowing you can keep 10Lbs off a year, I know it doesn't sound like a lot but it is...if just having water isn't working try adding crystal light for flavor.

I have lost 6lbs over the past months, and it's good to finally start seeing results, but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on breaking bad habits, and some of the ways they were successful in doing so? My bad habit is mountain dew. I drink at least 2) 1liter bottles a day. I know I shouldn't, but they are so good! It makes me wonder how much more weight I might have lost if I didn't drink them.
