This could indeed be the case. I really need to working on my discipline. What I do know instead of binging on sweet stuff, I binge on healthy things. That is a bit fooling myself, I know. Is there a "reprogram your brain" institute somewhere ;-) kidding, need to train my brain myself and be strong!

Something I find a little helpful is having a small protein bar at the gym before or after a workout. It helps curb my appetite. I workout at night after work and sometimes I get to the gym really hungry, so I'll have a small protein bar to help with the hunger.
I think the body doesn't LIKE or WANT TO lose weight.(and I read that on a nutritionist's site) It knows you just burned a lot of calories and wants to replace them. The body is always trying to maintain it's weight, or hold an equilibrium. So I think your craving for high sugar/fat food is simply the body fighting against you. It happens to me as well - after a workout I always want to eat - and I have to really fight it. Just tell your body - "sorry, your not putting those calories back on!:)"

It could be the time of day. I crave chocolate after lunch. Some ideas that help me is to eat cereal or have sugar free hot chocolate. Something I have been doing lately as I am very hungry later in the evening, is I drink a large glass of water.
