Hi. I did yoga this am. Still having pain in my shoulder/neck and don't want to crazy over work it. It's easing up though, so that's great! Want to do some before bed yoga but I'll probably pass out after doing the laundry and putting dd to bed. OOOOh and I got a bonus walk today. And it was with my dd so we got to walk and talk and it was lovely.

HI, just discovered the Tara Stiles You Tube channel (?) and am going to do that today, instead of day 6 of the SparkPeople New You thing that I've been doing. I think I pulled a muscle yesterday in my neck/shoulder running around with 3yo in stroller+ our bag of stuff+ library run (so 20 or so library books)+ playground. So I worked out for 10 mins yesterday and then did all that running around. So today...yoga. I have missed it this week.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday! I got outside for a walk/jog for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks! Yikes! I had to take it slow but I did it and it felt GREAT!

Hooray weekend!
Had to do surprise double @ work, so didn't get to work out, but did get a walk in (work related), vacuum at work, move furniture around and ran up and down the stairs a lot! I work at a restaurant and all of the food was meat related so it was a very easy event for me as I don't eat meat! :) :) :) Usually the events equal me eating too much stuff, snacky style.
Off to do day 5 of the spark people new you day 5 work out.

Marie, I know you can overcome. You are a strong woman with amazing willpower and drive!

I do like your differentiation between binge and indiscretion. I may have you use that sometime, because there really is a difference.

WTG on burning it off with some cardio, that is my new method of trying to deal with similar "indiscretions" myself.
I believe it is working.

Last night I had an "incident"... I did great all day but right before bed I got some frozen cookie dough out of the freezer and nuked them, making cake-consistency cookies. I ate a lot of them. I was vulnerable. I don't consider this a binge, but definitely an indiscretion!
The only good thing to come of it was that I had the fuel to do a KILLER run this morning! I ran hard and fast!! And my husband is getting ready to go to the gym so I might go with him and work out again.
I was up one lb this morning. Gonna make today a great day!

I did day 3 of the spark people you tube workout and got a good walk in. I feel like I'm slow starting but, I've done 3 consecutive days of *something* even though the workouts aren't that long. I think it's a good base and I can work up from here? I feel so many of my muscles, haha. But it's nice. :)

Decided against going out for a walk/jog tonight after work. It's really, REALLY dark out there at that time and I'm a little nervous about going out by myself.

I guess my walk/jogs will be for weekends only now. emoticon

Did Coach Nicole's day 2 boot camp this am. My 3yo began without me, when I went to get water, so funny walking up seeing her do squats... :)
Can anyone recommend me any other sparkpeople workouts?
I was doing the crunch fitness on netflix, but they have disappeared from the watch instantly option. My only other dvd's are yoga, which I LOVE, but I am not seeing serious results or feeling very sexy. I am the same weight I was before I had my daughter (150 lbs) 4 years ago, but it's all redistributed...the same clothes don't fit. :(

just finished week 1 of hip hop abs level one. Its one of my first set of videos that I loved so started fresh with those. weigh in for me tomorrow. really hoping for a 5 pound loss but I highly doubt it.

Planning on getting out for a walk/jog this after work today. I'm a little nervous because it's much cooler than it was two weeks ago. My husband helped me purchase some weather-appropriate items to help combat the temps yesterday so I'm ready to give it a try. I haven't walk/jog'd in over a week. Feeling a little nervous about it.

I couldn't go for a hike yesterday because thunderstorms and rain rolled in right when I left. I'm feeling pretty tired this morning after taking a Benadryl last night but I'm hoping I'll be able to get some kind of cardio in today. Weight- wise I'm ok... only 0.4 lbs up for the weekend so far, which is a great accomplishment for me. Have a great day everyone!

Hi all! Thirty something "loser" here! Haha! Cheated yesterday, planned to. Today I am all over it. Just made some white chicken chili. Well basically I opened some cans and poured them together, but the calories for 1/4 of it is only 171 so I am enjoying:-) Plans to exercise later too. Have a great day all. I am back to cleaning my house. Not easy with a 3 and 6 year old boy to dodge and pick up after.

Today I am feeling really good! I'm definitely losing again, which is a huge relief because I have been stagnant for months- caught up in a never-ending cycle of binging. I'm confident I'm going to make it through the holidays and still meet my ultimate weight loss goal!!!
I had planned on taking my dog for a hike yesterday but ended up running instead. Today I'm going to do the hike.

Good morning. Today was my weigh in day. I lost 1.2 pounds this week. I'm excited about once again heading in the right direction. From May 2011 to July 2012, I lost 97 pounds. In the last couple of months, I've gained 8 back so last Thursday I recommitted myself and mad a confession to my fb friends. It feels good to be working towards my health/fitness goals.

Congrats, Marie! I know you can reach your next goal!

Nicole, I hope you are okay with the storms. I am in Dallas but I have travel plans for Thursday for work. I am suppose to land in Philidelphia and drive up to Trenton, NJ and Princeton. I feel for everyone effected by the storm. If I were there, I would be demanding comfort food! Like grilled cheese sandwiches...yum. Okay, I'm not helping.

We're getting ready for Sandy. Both DH and I work for the electric company so there's no closings for us! Even in a big storm and a state of emergency...we've got to be there. Ugh. Now's the time I wish I would have wanted to be a teacher or something like that.
