I love a good Cherry Coke. I had been thinking I was okay with one soda a day but then I decided just to quit completely. I have been doing pretty good so far, better than I expected. I just aim to be soda free at least 5 days a week Saturdays I'll usually have one sugar drink.

Hello my name is taresa and im a coca cola addict hahahah i was drinking half a case a day about 6-7 wks ago, i found that i have to completely STOP i cannot limit myself its like crack to me and with one sip i want a 44 oz. Im the one who shops in our house so i just refused to buy it...i wont ever get rid of my coffee though.....

I have had a real soda adiction, upwards of 6 cans a day. I've since switched to using soda stream which is considerably better for you and lowered how much I drink total. It has made a HUGE difference.

I really enjoy flavored tonic water, especially lemon-lime. Gives me the feel of sprite. :) You could also try adding fruit to regular, or unflavored tonic water. Cucumber, berries, lemon, lime, watermelon, you name it!

I love soda! It's really hard to let go. If you have the money, I'd suggest getting a Soda Stream. I got one for Christmas (since my Mom knows I'm a sodaholic!) and it's really good alternative to traditional soda. No to low carbs and calories and without the other unhealthy additives.

i would say maybe switch to something like Sprite or Rootbeer since they are caffeine free. and try to stick to those two pops and just slowly try to get yourself to cut back from drinking a bottle to just a can of it. say if you drink 2-3 glasses of water reward yourself with a can of pop? just as a technique? i had the problem of "water is too boring" but i just bought those flavor packets, pink lemonade is the best in my opinion. but as previously suggested you could try some other drink you might like more? try Razzleberry Peace Tea. it's 99cents for a really big can, its pretty addicting :) another you could try is Simply Lemonade- Raspberry lemonade. but the healthiest and ( i think ) the best is V8 VFusion- try it in Pomegranate Blueberry. i think that is the best flavor. :) goodluck!

Have you tried switching to a different drink like crystal light lemonade or something? I have never been a big soda drinker, but I know switching from soda to water is usually the hard part for people trying to cut back. You could also try seltzer water. It's still carbonated and comes in different flavors.
