Jennifer Lawrence. She's a runner and she looks strong, not skinny.

Jessica Biel for me too. She isn't the typical super thin Hollywood actress. She is toned and fit. You always see her doing active stuff in the magazines like paddle boarding and playing sports. She seems like a healthy role model to follow.

I would have to say Jordin Sparks or Jennifer Hudson, not only because of how great both ladies looked before and after weightloss, but also because you can tell they really put some hard work and effort into shedding the pounds.

After the Olympics (lol notice a pattern here?) Allyson Felix, Sanya Richards Ross, and all of the other women in track and field. They are so strong and lean and athletic. But not too big or masculine looking.

The rest of the year, I like a lady named Chicken Tuna. She is all about "no hype" - you just gotta eat healthy, watch portions, and exercise to be fit. And she's really fit!

After the olympics, I would say the american volleyball girls. Misty May and Keri Walsh. They have great bodies and you can tell they take care of themselves! Amazing.

I was coming here to say Jessica Biel too!! She really does work out a lot and it definitely shows. Also Jillian Michaels. While she is pretty intense, she has worked very hard ot look they way she does, and it motivates me! (I just bought 6 week 6 pack and 30 day shred off Amazon)

I have to say Chalene Johnson, Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. They all have a special place in my heart for different reasons. Chalene is definitely my all time favorite though. They are all so motivated, determined and have done extensive research, plus they have given me the drive to go into the career field I have chosen.

GETOLDMEBK - I would definitely eat more than 1200 calories. Our bodies can have the same results from too few calories as it does with too many calories; inability to lose weight.

Sorry, Nalgene is a water bottle brand that makes good ones. I use them for camping because they're pretty much indestructible and hold 32 oz of water. I find its easier to get enough water by drinking from big water bottles than having to constantly refill a glass. I'm not sure what Bariatrics means but I feel you should still think about going for 1200 calories. Just my opinion, take it as you will. At 1000 you might be too hungry and give in to cravings and snacking more frequently

Hey getoldmebk, first of all I don't know your size, but bump it up to 1200 calories. I've found I lose the most fat at around 1300-1400. Secondly since you lost 4 pounds last week but none this week, it was probably water weight that you lost. All that four pounds showed is that you tricked the scale. increase your calories slightly and try to drink 2 or 3 nalgenes of water a day (8+ cups) and then you'll see that the pounds that come off are fat :)

For me I generally start with a bowl of cereal in the morning. Not the best thing but I'm always in a rush. Recently I switched from a 2cup bowl of special k or raisin bran to 1 cup of Kashi or fiber plus. I feel just as full mid morning but its less calories and a better protein to carb ratio

Lunch is a turkey or ham sandwhich on whole grain bread. Simple and easy to make in the morning with good carbs and protein. I'll have almonds and a fruit in the afternoon as a snack to get some good fat since (somehow) I was always low on that the days I ate right.

I get back from lifting and have a protein shake and then later at night I eat dinner which helps stop me from snacking. I'll have a grilled chicken breast or fish with a side and veggies. When I stick to that throughout the week I lose 2 pounds consistently. I normally do bad on weekends due to drinking and eating with friends but I don't mind. I rather have fun anyway.

I hope all this helps you. Send me a message if you want to chat more. I always enjoy talking to people on this site. Good Luck!

What is all of your diets? I have lost 4 lbs last week but this week nothing .. i need better high protein high fiber meals ...

i am on 1000 cal diet .. and just trying to figure out a schedule of what i can eat daily. no matter how boring it is i would rather eat the same thing over and over than make something and chance it going over the calories... : (

taking meals or other advice.

For me it's the welter- and middle weight fighters of the UFC. People like GSP and Michael Bisping are the sort of body shape I would love to have,

Yea man couldn't have said it better myself... It is Bruce Lee's drive and work ethic that makes him an idol. His lessons can be learned and used by any one with fitness goals.

I wasn't saying anything bad about either of them. Just trying to put some things in perspective that those are two of the most fit men in the world depending on what you want to define it as.

And I'm still saying Bruce Lee is a freak in a good way. That kind of drive brought that man to near superhuman feats especially considering his weight. I read a book about someone who ended up training with him for just 2 weeks and Bruce's mentality was basically go beyond what you thought your limits were or die. Because to him there was no point settling that anything was good enough. He constantly pushed himself and others.

The Rock is still a phenomenal athlete yes he admitted to "trying" steroids when he was like 18 but come on look at him now. He was massive then he got lean and all credited to hard work. I am not an advocate for anything ingested--or injected that is not natural but you can't condemn someone for being young curious and stupid.

Bruce Lee may have been genetically gifted but not a freak of nature he to worked extremely hard some would argue too hard. But if God gave it to you use it...

Those are good ones. But keep in mind that Bruce Lee was an absolute freak of nature, and The Rock did admit to taking steroids to get his size. For me Its probably the lightweight fighters in the UFC. Sure they weigh in at 155 but their walk around weight is more like 170 and I feel I have a similar frame to them if I can lose these last couple pounds and then increase my calories while hitting the gym just as hard to put some of my lost muscle back on. With those fighters every pound is good useful muscle that values practicality over looks while staying lean.
