We all have down days that cause us to feel discouraged. I think it's part of the journey, part of the process. If it were easy, everybody would be thin, healthy, and confident. Keep taking steps in the right direction and the scale will catch up to your effort. You gotta work on your inner dialogue though. Would you say to a friend "Even if you do get there, you'll just fail and end up where you started?" Of course you wouldn't... Because its cruel and its not helpful. Yet you just said it about yourself. I'm sending positive vibes your way because you CAN do this and you CAN maintain it! Good luck!
Today I feel a little guilty. I'm not supposed to be running right now due to a hip injury but it was a gorgeous night and I was stressed at work today... I couldn't help myself. I went for a short one. It may have something to do with the scale going up a couple pounds and feeling crappy about it too. Either way... It felt amazing to get out and run. Physical therapy starts tomorrow.
