I am sore. 67 flights of stairs on Friday, 61 Saturday, 11 Sunday (felt like I could not walk), and already 29 today.

Tonight I am just going to pack and clean, no more heavy lifting for me for awhile.

Well part of exercising is so that we are able to do the regular day to day stuff.
You'll definitely be working your muscles and getting your heart rate up.
Make sure to be careful climbing those stairs while carrying your boxes. No accidents!

No exercising planned for me today. I'll be cleaning - dishes, bathroom, inside of car. Maybe the floor.

I get my new keys today, so I will be doing a lot of weight lifting (boxes), and stair climbing (on 3rd floor).

I may not be doing traditional exercises but moving is an exercise in its own right lol.

@Katrick - I don't blame you! I haven't done any walking or other kinds of exercising outdoor all month. The only one I would consider is swimming.

This morning I did a butt and thigh Pilates workout video and followed that up with a full body stretching video.

I am slowing down on my walking again. I haven't stopped but I have not been willing to walk until I am dripping with sweat these days.
I have different areas I want to test out for Pokemon hunting, but the heat is just breaking me down.

Didn't go swimming but I did go to the beach yesterday.

The pictures are gorgeous! Thank-you for sharing. If the weather behaves this evening after work I'll take pictures at the beach.

Great job on the steps and exercising you two! I have not done any real walking in a long time since it's so HOT here. I've been sticking to workout videos and well swimming this evening :).

Working out in the mornings are easier for me. Once I'm up I'm up but once I get home after work I lose all motivation to do anything usually.

Went hiking At Gold Mint Trail here in Hatchers pass Yesterday. Round trip about 8.5 miles. Beautiful scenery. Hope you guys are able to see the pictures.

I ended up with 22k steps on Friday, 8k on Saturday, and 10k yesterday.

I was at the fort worth botanical gardens for my sister-in-law's baby shower... I got there early and was bummed that I couldn't log into Pokemon Go.

Here I was on a completely different side of the metroplex, at a place I had never been to before, and I could not go see what pokemon lurked around.

Haha, you and me both girl. I have had a handful of friends that have kept pushing me to join in on pokemon go. So last night was feeling kind of lazy but knew I need to get out and at least walk. So went ahead and downloaded it and went for about a 40 minute walk around my neighborhood without really realizing it. Silly game but hey what ever works

@SILVERSPARROW04 - I wish I could get up that early and get an exercise routine in, I'm lucky if I can roll out of bed and get to work on time. (needless to say I am not a morning person) I get my energy at night, so after work I always do some sort of exercise. Yesterday my hamstring was acting up again, so instead of running I biked for 40 mins, then did some strength training and stretching afterwards.

Looks like this weekend I have a hiking trip planned, will make sure to take pics for everyone

Got up at 5:30 and did another round of upper body and core workouts from Fitness Blender. My arms are definitely feeling it today but thankfully my wrist is better.

I don't think I'll have enough time to exercise this evening but tomorrow if my my ankles are better I'll focus on them if not I'll do a core workout :D. I'm trying to get up to 500 minutes by the end of Saturday but that means 45 minutes today tomorrow and Saturday.

@KATRICK528 - I know what you mean about the heat. I have not done any outside walking for over a week it's just way too hot even at 7 in the morning but yay on getting in the pool. It's full body and no impact :D.

@AKMCLAUGHLIN89 - Oh yay for fabulous weather! It's overcast here but still hot so it's like a blanket is covering up. I just looked up body weight strength training exercises since I only have a mat and pull up bar for equipment right now.

Did an upper body workout this morning from Fitness Blender since my ankles are still sore from running on Tuesday. And now my right wrist is sore :P.

I have still been walking. I have not been walking as far, but I have been doing something. It is just so hot outside during my normal walking time.

Yesterday I went walking with my work's walk/run group and did 3.3 miles then I went and did a boxing fitness class with my mum-in-law. Did a lot better than my first time, made it farther before I had to go lie down :P then I got back up after 5 minutes.

Today I walked for about 16 minutes.

You are doing great!!!

I walked to and from work Wednesday and thursday this week. Today, I am resting.

I stayed up late last night to clean clean clean. I went to bed at 3am and got up at 6:30 for work. Later today, I have a massage (like massage therapy not spa massage) and chiropractor adjustment.

I got most of my place picked up and looking better. I still need to organize and put up all my laundry, and then clean surfaces (not clearing off, but actually cleaning with soap). I am considering the cleaning as my workout for today.

Where is everyone? Hello from the other side...I must have posted a few times...to tell you I'm here and I feel so alone...and spammy.


Anyway went swimming this morning woohoo! 45 minutes, I was the only one from my swim group who showed up o.o.

Yesterday's boxing fitness class tried to kill me. Ok actually the problem was I didn't have enough sugar/simple carbs before hand so my sugar dropped and I got all dizzy and had to lie down for a bit on the floor. I did get back up and finish the workout though so yay! I have no upper body strength, I knew this but my arms are like wet noodles. Getting resistance bands this weekend!

Yay pool time :). Boo on the flooding. Does their insurance cover it? I know some don't.

And thank-you. I'm sure you could do the race. I sticks to the shallow so I can stop and rest when I need to. All levels of fitness do it :). And it took me doing practice to reach where I am :D.

I might be going swimming (at a pool though) soon.

My brother's place flooded and to try to keep my niece from realizing how bad things are she is going to come spend the weekend with me. She loves to swim, so we might go swimming at my apartment complex's pool.
I also have other things I will be doing this weekend to help my brother out. I wish I owned a house that they could stay in but my place is too small to house me and my animals (1 cat 1dog) and them with their animals (2 adults, 1 kid, 2 large dogs, and 1 cat).

You are doing good with your swimming! I know I could not do what you are doing. I would need a lot of practice lol

Speakign of rain. It was storming last night/early this morning. I was afraid it would continue to the morning and cancel my swim but it had stopped.

Did 1250 meters. Which was my goal even though the other lady in the group wanted to do 1600 meters lol. 1250 in 50 minutes is pretty good though since the cut off for the race is 1600 meters (1 mile) in 75 minutes.

Well it is good he can reach his house and water.

Not sure if it was mean but it barked whenever I was near the fence so I just let Animal Welfare deal with it which he did. He untangled the dog's leash and brought his dog house and water closer.

Went walking this morning and the dog was sleeping in his house.

Did it look like a mean dog? I would have been type to try to go help out the dog if I could.

I was lazy this past weekend. I usually have my weekends as resting time so I do not really feel like I need vacations.
I did only 1 walk yesterday. I completely spaced in the afternoon and forgot to go for my afternoon walk. This morning, my walk with the dog seemed easier. It might not even be because I took a rest but because I got some things completed in my game that I keep putting off and my mind was clear of some clutter.

@Katrick - When was the last time you had a vacation? Even just a day off just to recharge?

Went walking for 30 minutes this morning but it was my slowest pace ever cause I saw a dog that was tied up to a tree and it's "leash" was tangled so it looked like he couldn't reach his water so that was on my mind as I messaged my friend about it. I called Animal Welfare and the guy said he'll let me know once he's checked it out. Hopefully he does it soon it's been getting really hot here lately and the dog didn't look like it had proper shade either.

Way to go!

I have been walking dog 1/2 mile, walking to work, 10min stretch at work, walk home after work, and then another 1/2 mile walk with dog for all except Tuesday this week. I will also not be doing that tomorrow. I have something else going on Tuesday and Friday mornings that timing wise, I just do 1/2 mile walk with puppy 2 times a day, and stretching.

I am so exhausted but not from working out. I have mental exhaustion. I cannot even come up with things to say besides you are doing good! Maybe after I sleep tomorrow I will have more mental capability. Tonight is a game night so I will not get much sleep tonight.

Did my swim yesterday after work. Half a mile in 31:37 minutes.
Went walking/running this morning. I am going to try running again but really slowly as in walk/run for 30 minutes once a week.

Going for a walk this afternoon with my work's walk/run group. Hoping I can up my pace.

Update: Didn't end up walking yesterday. I was to tired and sore I just marked that as a recovery day. Went walking this morning and I am going swimming this afternoon. Can't wait to try out my watch ^_^. emoticon

You're doing great :). That's the good thing about dogs they get you to move more.

This morning I went swimming for an hour. 40 minutes was working on form and last 20 minutes was seeing how much laps I could do in that time - 16 (x25m). Now I just need to be able to do that many laps x 4 for my race.

Due to late minute request from my mother, I have the dog now.
My plans include a workout and then walking, so I am thinking a 1/2mile walk with dog for the "workout" portion and then walking to work still. I am testing that out this week to see how if it is doable.
The weeks without dog will then have a strength workout or yoga before walking to work.

I share a dog with my mom. I have him for a week or 2, and then she has him for a week or 2.

He went back to my mother's this weekend, so I am walking to work this week!

Monday I walked in the morning and in the afternoon. 53 minutes total.
Yesterday I rested.
This morning I walked for 30 minutes.

My walks are going by quicker so I think they are getting easier which means I'm getting stronger :D.

This morning I snoozed, but managed to get out of bed before my alarm went off again.
(Alarm set for 6:30, hit snooze, got up at 6:40, and alarm went off again from snooze at 6:45) I am still counting it as a snoozed morning.

I have puppy this week, so no walking to and from work. I am walking 1 mile with puppy in the morning and 1 mile with puppy in the afternoon. I am trying to get him to not take very long so I am not stopping at every little thing, but only stopping a few times.

I am really bad about snoozing in the morning instead of working out.

I am working on my snooze habits before I start strength workouts. I love yoga so I am starting with trying to do yoga daily in the mornings. I thought about if I can get in the habit of getting up early by doing something I enjoy in the morning it might help. Once I am used to getting up early then I can switch to some strength and some yoga in the morning.

I started a 30min yoga session wednesday afternoon but did not finish (ipad went dead). I then did the same 30min session last night, and noticed how far the timer was when I reached the pose my ipad died during on wednesday night. I apparently did 15min on wednesday. So i have at least done 1 day of 15min and 1 day of 30min.

Today is a half-day at work, so after I walk home, I will do another 30min session of yoga.

Tomorrow I am planning on going to a renaissance festival which will be several hours on my feet, so probably no yoga tomorrow

@KATRICK528 - I am having trouble doing my scheduled exercises too. But I've managed to do walks in the morning just in case I can't do my regular exercises so there is that but I'd like to do my scheduled exercises cause they are strength training exercises targeting areas I want to get stronger that walking alone just won't do.

I keep not doing my scheduled yoga or stretching (I also keep hitting snooze in the morning).

I am thinking of walking to work the next few days (already brought frozen leftovers to work for lunch tomorrow and Thursday). I hope the weather is nice enough to help encourage me!

Today I have currently missed my morning yoga session but hope to make it up this afternoon. I have also gotten in a walk this morning and hope for another this afternoon.

So I've discovered I don't like my Nike Training App so I did a core workout youtube video yesterday instead.

Walked for 18 minutes this morning before work. Going to do a longer walk after work.

Correction: Today isn't a walk day it's yoga day. Tomorrow is walk day.


UPDATE:
I failed yoga day. Didn't do it. But I've already done my walk for today so I feel a bit better :). Don't have to worry about not doing it now since it's done \o/. Walked for 30 minutes this morning. Pace was slow but I did it.

My energy did perk up yesterday. I did a walk when I got home, and 30min of yoga.

Today, I have done a walk, and 10min of stretching behind my desk. I plan on another walk this afternoon, and stretching either behind desk at work again or after walk later.

My cold kept getting worse friday. I did not manage to do a 2nd walk or stretching. Spent the afternoon primarily laying on the couch with tissues in reach.

Saturday and Sunday, I attempted to go for a walk, but only made it 1/2 the way before turning home for more tissues.

I am feeling better today and have completed a full walk this morning. I hope to feel well enough for a walk this afternoon. Part of me is so incredibly tired, I am debating going home from work already. Hopefully this will go away after coffee.

My plans to go for a 2nd walk yesterday did not happen. It was a rain storm with HIGH winds. The winds were almost blowing me over when I was outside, I was not going to force my little dog who is just shy of 14lbs to go walking in winds that felt like they could take him away.

I currently do not have any back-up activities for my dog when we cannot go walking... I need to figure up back-up plans for when I have my dog and when I do not have my dog (verbal aggreement with my mom... like a shared custody thing).

We did another walk this morning, and I hope to do a 2nd this afternoon.

I could almost copy and paste from yesterday.
I did finish the day yesterday with 2 walks down. Although the first walk, I had accidently left my fitbit in my bathroom so only my phone using the fitbit app was tracking steps. It is good at mileage but not good at steps.
Today, I have done 1 walk and I feel exhausted. During my walk this morning I felt warm/hot and I do not know if the temperature is actually warmer then previous mornings or if it was from the humidity since it was sprinkling.
I do plan on another walk when I get home with my puppy.
