Good morning all. I went to bed early last night with my sleeping pills and slept pretty well I think. I stepped on the scale to see that my bloat has gone back down so that was good. I'm still a little tender but not near as sore as I was yesterday. Have a terrific Thursday!

Since last Thursday (my daughter was injured) I haven't exercised...just too exhausted emotionally and physically (although I have been eating healthy...yay me!), so my small goal for today is to do some form of exercise...and I will!

Welcome to a submission Sunday. Oh boy, he has gone out to space again lol.

We are all hear to get healthier together. We all use the tools provided to help guide us in our endeavors to not only lose weight but to feel better physically and emotionally. We have submitted ourselves to them because nobody can do it alone. There are still temptations that present themselves from time to time. The trick is to not submit to those. It's not easy! Today focus on any areas that may need some improvement and then SUBMIT yourself to working on those areas, and Submit to making healthier choices today and in the future. Make a list of the weaknesses, and post them somewhere where you can see them. Right next to each one, write a solution you are determined to SUBMIT to n order to combat and defeat it when it presents itself.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope all is well with family and friends. Our Christmas stay on the highest point in Arkansas has been adventureous for the whole family. We started our weekend out in the suite getting settled in and making a fire to hang the stockings over. Then on the 24 my son and I went exploring a trail that lead from the front of the lodge to a cliff on a high point of the trail. Then we woke up and Robert opened gifts. We set out exploring again and this time went down an Easy trail according to the pamplet. The main part of the trail was easy to walk on but when you head off to explore the swimming pool that was built in 1938 the terrain was rough. There wasn't much of the pool left and the diving board has almost disappeared except for the footings. The house was almost unreconizabe except for the large hole where the basement was. We came back exhausted after walking 6 miles to see this. We met up with my husband and we went to the Christmas buffet where the massive table of empty calories as I call the deserrt table. But the fireplace the hostest seated us by was pretty. We are having a good time playing the WII this afternoon and resting up for tomorrow. My son and husband have plans to take me to Olive Garden for my birthday in the morning. I hope everyone has an Amazing Merry Christmas with whatever you do. Went to the fitness center yesterday and worked out with the class. Then I went and waited for Robert to get done getting his workout done with the trainer. Then we came home and worked in the house for 40 minutes. Now I have to go out again to the bowling alley and pre bowl for tomorrow because I have been asked to take over the Silver Sneakers Class at the Fitness center today. The person that is doing the 10:30 class is left yesterday for Christmas vacation. She won't be back til Tuesday. I told the owner that yes I can do the class for Today but cannot on Monday because we will be coming back from the Mountains in the afternoon. He said just tell the class in the morning that we are canceling the class for Monday. This is my first time to teach a fitness class so I am kind of nervous. I just hope I will do good. I used to teach weight watchers classes when I lived in Russellville. But that was 10 years ago. I was let go from there because I was pregnant and WW didn't want someone who would be gaining weight to tell others how to lose weight. I have to say though that I only gained 12 pounds with Robert. I'll let you know how today goes.

I am also having problems staying in the calorie range. But it has to do with husband bringing home my favorite snack cakes. He is over 350 calories and isn't trying to lose weight. He thinks that he is helping but in reality he is doing me more harm than good. With that said, I started off the day on a positive note. I took Robert to school then headed over to the fitness center for an appt with my personal trainer 2 1/2 hours. She had me tired when I was done. She said that tomorrow is my day off since they are having a Christmas potluck at noon. She would like for me to alternate the strength training machines with a circuit training class twice a week. I hear that the class is brutle.

Hi guys,

Sorry I have not been on for a while. I have missed talking to you guys. Our internet modem went out with the last lightening storm that we had come through. Our internet provider came by yesterday and replaced the modem and uped the signal to the box. So I am hoping that it doesn't go down again. I hope everyone has a good Halloween with your kids or grandkids. I have joined a Ladies Bowling League and enjoyed the first week talking with the ladies and getting to know them. Tomorrow is the last day of school this week for my son. We have parent teacher conferences tomorrow night then the teachers have an in service day on Friday.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone has had a good week so far. Over the Thursday and Friday day vision and hearing clinic we ran 900 kids through. I walked all over the three schools all day today. It is a mile from the Jr. High to the upper Elementary. So I figured that I walked a total of 8 miles taking kids to and from each station. I also dranked 68 oz of water all day. This next week we have a two day Flu shot clinic. So I will probably will be walking another 8 miles again on both days. I guess I don't need to go to the fitness center if I keep it up. Yesterday my son's bowling took 3 out of 4 games away from the teens.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday with whatever you do.

Had a good day today relaxing after my 2 hour strength training session with a trainer. Sherrie kick butt. I thought I was doing pretty good until she said it is time to increase the weight that you are using. I was doing all the reps without stopping and my muscles were not stressed. After the increase I couldn't hardly do half without stopping to rest. I took my son to his martial arts class tonight and found out that he is testing for his purple belt in November. Robert was pretty pumped. I hope everyone has a good day with whatever you do.

I spent over 2 hours today at the fitness center working out on all the cardio machines. I had an actively afternoon also. I help in the 4th grade special with reading and math and today was pretty exciting. While we were doing math one of the students said that there is a grasshopper up in the light. I looked up and saw that it was not a grass hopper but was a baby mouse. The teacher asked if I would go look up the janitor to get it out. I did. He came to the class room with a ladder and pulled down the light cover. The mouse fell out and started running around the room. The teacher has two aides and me in the room. She said to all of us get it don't let it get away. I didn't know that baby mice could run so fast. It ran out into the hall and started to go over to the middle school. I told the aide that was helping me that the mouse wants a higher education. We trapped the mouse and the janitor came and stepped on it and put it in the trash. My son is calling us murderers. So now I just want to sit and rest a bit before starting supper. I hope everyone has a good evening with whatever you do.

Spent 120 minutes at the fitness Center. 40 minutes on the bike, 20 minutes on the stepper and 60 minutes in an aerboic class. Sorry I didn't get by yesterday. Yesterday I started the Biggest Loser Workout on the WII for 36 minutes. The work out was easy. I might up the intensity from easy to moderate. Yesterday was my husband's 49th birthday. I know I shouldn't have done it but I bought him a birthday cupcake cake and his favorite supper KFC Grilled Chicken. But my son said Mom it is only once a year what is the deal. But with all of that said I still lost one pound this week.

Spent yesterday working out at the fitness center. Worked out for 156 minutes. I walked on the treadmill for 60 minutes and the bike for 36 minutes. Then I attended the Silver Sneakers Class for 60 minutes. My softball coach from child hood is in the class. We talk of old times of me and her kids playing on the same team and the year we came in first place. She was telling the class you should have been there when Sharon jumped up from catchers position and ran down towards the dug out to catch a foul ball. She no one else even tried to catch the ball. I am the youngest one in the Silver Sneakers Class. But I do enjoy it. I lost another pound this week. I'm happy because I thought that after losing 11 pounds last week I wouldn't lose anything this week.

we haven't had ran in FOREVER but got some yesterday. Last week was Homecoming for us as well and I took off work so I could see my son marching in the band. Me and sister left after halftime at 27-7 with us winning and by 10 pm news it still wasn't over and winning 60-7!

Hi everyone,
Hope all of you are doing good. Sorry I wasn't on here yesterday. I have been under the weather but am getting better now. Something is going around the school and will probably be going through the family too. Hope everyone has a Fantastic Sunday with what ever you do. Rember to get your water in. This past weekend was homecoming at our school district. My son wanted to go but since it was raining I told my 11 year old that we are not going and setting out on cold wet bleachers in the pouring down rain. I told him that the local boys and girls clubs are having an open house at their new place. We could go there. He said sure mom. We went by the football feild on the way over to the open house. The score board said that we were losing 19 to 0. I told my son that I'm glad now that we didn't go to the game. He said yeah it wouldn't have been any fun mom.

Hi guys,
I spent a yesterday at my son's school. Yesterday was hispanic day and also grandparents day. I had orginally planned to drop my son off and head off to the fitness center. But the volunteer supervisor came to me and said some of the workers had called in sick and would I mind working all day. I told her that I guess I would she said great the first thing is we need a delivery person to take food to all the schools. I did this and got my workout in by lifting heavy boxes and walking all over campus. At the end of the day I was told that all the left overs was mind as a thank you for working. My husband said that we don't have to cook for two or three days. So now I have a ice box full of mexican food and a freezer full of bread. The only thing is I don't know how to record it on the tracker since it was all home made and not store brought. Anyone have any ideas. So far today I have gotten in 56 oz of water and will probably be getting more down. The bowling alley that my son plays at has all regular soft drinks and no water or diet drinks. So I'm thinking about getting in all my water before hand and 3 or 4 more glasses to count against the cokes later on. I have in the past snuck in packets of crystal light and asked for a cup with ice. Then gone to the restroom and put water in it.. I hope everyone has a good day with whatever you do.

This past Sunday started a wonderful week of temps under 100...but we have to feel guilty for enjoying it because that is when the fires all started because of the wind that still haven't been put out. about 30% contained and over 1400 homes lost in TX

We enjoyed the game yesterday. The Cardinals didn't win but was a good first time for my son. A good experience for him too. Too show that even though you put your onto it sometimes you still don't win. Don't be a sore loser. Go out with your head held high. We didn't get back to the hotel until 11:30PM. We were tired and my husband that did all the work at driving was sore this morning. I told him it was because of sitting in one position for 4 hours. We are getting ready to pack up and leaving for Arkansas. We will be driving again for 4 hours to our house. I am going to check on dad when we return to Arkansas. Hope everyone had a good Labor Day yesterday while having fun.

hope your dad is doing much better and you have fun on your trip. funny to see the last post was from me over a year ago...as of today we are on day 66 in a row I think of OVER a hundred degrees...not counting the twenty or so days that weren't in a row.
