Nobody would believe what I eat for breakfast ... it's my #1 favorite meal of the day ... 1/2 each chopped broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, mushrooms, spinach and 1/4 cup each chopped carrots, celery and bell peppers plus 1 egg, 1/2 serving egg whites, 1/4 cup oatmeal, 1/8 cup skim milk. Nuked for 9.5 minutes and BOOM!..."instant" heavenly breakfast.
haha... I'm wondering what I CAN eat at anytime! I got the results of my blood test today and my sugar levels are over the high limit by a little. I was already diagnosed with hbp and hi cholestrol. Kill me now!! lol
That's why I've decided to get serious about getting this weight off and change my diet and lifestyle. Just finishing day TWO!
I am restarting some goals set last August and am finding that my biggest challenge is keeping things that I can eat in the house. I am primal so meat is a main staple and is also what all my other family members like best LOL. What is everyone else doing for low(er) carb breakfast?
I hear ya there Laura! I just got back from a 9 day business trip last week and I gained 3 lbs! I have a week long business trip to Portland comming up in a couple weeks also. This one won't be a repeat because I'll at least be in the same place all week, rather than catching a plane to the next city every afternoon. Hope you have fun in Salt Lake!
Life is too short to sit on your ass and do nothing.
Good morning everyone from Salem! Much harder to eat up here when I have to eat out every day- but I'm working on it. Hope everyone is doing great! Home late tonite then work tomorrow then off to Salt Lake Friday morning!
Well, instead of having many threads in here..I will keep posting in this one and make it a sticky.
I am experimenting with some things and think I am going to follow an Atkins type eating for awhile. I have found that I don't feel good when I am eating carbs and think I need to try something different.
Good luck to anyone running in the Pear Blossom today...maybe someday I can get there!
