Today is April 25th, 2012. I'm down to 168-169 pounds, I've lost atleast 13 pounds. I'm loving the fact that I have more motivation to get things done in my life, spend fun moments with my family. I would like to get down another 30-34 pounds, 135 would be my goal weight. Although it has not been to hard to lose this weight, when I had an oops.... I just did better the next day! I do know that birthdays and holidays are just around the corner and that is were I will fall into the pressure of JUNK! My promise to myself is to not gain ALL of what I have lost and definitely not go over my first weight. If I gain, then gain not more than half of what I gain.... so when I do get back on track and lose again it wont be so hard!
We will see how this works for me! All I can do is try and hope to conquer!!!!

I wish the best for all and hope everyone is working hard to meet there goal weight. I'm not the best person to ask about Healthy living or which workout is the best, but if anyone needs motivating or just someone to listen..... Please feel free to shoot me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Hello,
Well Feb. is over now and on to March! I was hoping to have a 7 pound loss every two months, and as it stands I am down 5.25 pounds for Jan and Feb. I'm pretty happy with that! I will strive to do better and work harder. I have been going to the gym atleast 3 days a week and trying to eat better and ofcourse drinking as much water as I can stand! Well I hope everyone else is doing just as good or even Better! I wish everyone the best and would love to hear of the gains and the losses of your journeys.

Hello All!
Today is the last day of Jan. and I wanted to get on here and let you know that I have lost 2 3/4 pounds for this month! Yeah for me!....... I now have a membership to the Snaps fitness here in Jville and I have been staying true and comitted to the gym. Now I need to just do that with my meals and snacks! Iam trying for 5 pounds in Feb. So I will keep you informed and I hope you all are doing a wonderful job and Have some losses you would like to share.

Wow! Congrats on the 50 pound loss. It is a big achievement when we have a few pound loss. You should be real proud of yourself. Yes I know you said you gained some back and it can be dissappionting but you said it. WE CAN DO IT! If you are like me I know where I went wrong. the holidays came and I knew I would have a gain. I knew I would not beable to say no to the sweets or mashed potatoes. I was thinking that if it was just little portions, then I would be ok. But what I was doing was taking a little portion, then going back for more and thinking it really won't hurt me. In the long run it did hurt me and I was ashamed. I have gone to the gym twice this week and have been in control of what I eat, I know I will soon see the loss Iam hoping for. Iam proud of myself.........

Hello Amanda,
great to meet you. That is awesome that you lost 50 pounds! My sister in law has been there lost a great amount and gains half of it back around the big holidays. She just gets back on track and keeps going!
Iam proud of myself, everytime I run to catch up with someone or run to get the ball with the kids I am so out of breathe. My sister in law jogs about 4 miles when she goes out and she has asked me to go with her...... There is no way. But this morning I told myself it was now or never! I jogged down and around the block twice. I would say it was equal to 3 laps at a school feild. That is a big accomplishment for me. So I will try to keep going and maybe in a week or so I could do it 3 times and keep going! Maybe by summer time I could go and atleast do 1 mile with my sister in law. That will be a little goal I will set for myself.
Anyways as I ramble on.........I just needed to tell someone!
If you have made it to the 50 pounds off Then I know you will get to the goal you are aiming for and if you ever need someone to blow off steam or need me to tell you to put down that chocolate, then please let me know.

Sorry about your treadmill...I wish I could afford a gym...heh...I'm stuck doing work out videos at home...but, hey, I lost 50 pounds over a year ago...gained 30 back...but here to set the record straight and KEEP IT THERE!!! I donno anyone in J-ville...but I do hope you find awesome work out and motivational friends!

Both men and women are lost if they don't believe! They say strength comes only from believing. If you have the strength, then you will have willpower to get up and do something to lose. Don't give up or feel frustrated. for when you see the loss, it is amazing and you know that you believe!!!!

My name is Rozy. I was born and raised in the Jacksonville/ Medford area. I was at South Medford until 95, I was married in 97. We have 3 kids, they are all growing up way to fast! My husband was in the Military for almost 11 years, so we have been in three different states. He is out now and we have decided to move back home to be close to family and friends. I live in Jacksonville and have been introduced to the Cemetary hill in town.(what a workout)! Over the years, I have managed to lose 20 pounds and maintain it to the fullest. Although I am not at my goal weight, I would love to lose another 40 - 45 pounds. I love being involved with Sparks, meeting new people and having the motivation to keep going. I have been working with a tredmill the last 4 months, but it has died.... So I hope to be signing up with Snap Fitness in Jacksonville this Saturday. Wish me luck and I will keep you up dated on how I'm doing and if you go to that gym hopefully we will meet and become friends.
