you can also put imitation crab or slice up shrimp to add protein.

I sometimes add in browned hamburger or ground turkey to mine to jazz it up. I have also added sliced onions to the pasta or saute them with the burger. Yummy

I made a box of white cheddar mac & cheese (using the healthier directions). Then I played it up by halving some fig tomatoes from my balcony garden (they're about the size of grape tomatoes), tossing them with fresh chives and thyme, and mixing them in with the mac & cheese. It was delicious!
