Imade a meatloaf last night using ground turkey instead of hamburger. It turned out great!! Here is what I did. The amounts will be approx. as I just dumped rather then measuring. That is just how I do things.
Ground Turkey Meatloaf
2 lbs, groung turkey 3 eggs 1 cup oatmeal (reg) 1 1/3 cup stewed tomatoes (chopped fine) 1 TBLS seasoning salt 1 TBLS dried onion flakes (a small diced onion would have been good, but I didn't have one) 1 tsp garlic powder
Mix it all together and form into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 mins.
Turned out very moist, firm, and not at all greasy. I realized this morning I had left out the milk I usually put in my meatloaf. I don't know the nutritional values, but i am sure it is healthier than when made with hamburger. Try it or use the ground turkey in ur favorite meatloaf recipe and let me know how it turns out.
