Started off the New Year with 3 hours yard work. Day was very nice. Me and Hubby cleaned up the back yard of all the ice damage yuck. Poor Trees. I raked leaves and twigs till I got blisters on both hands. Yes, wear gloves. We burned the limb pile and leaves. Now when the guy comes to cut the larger limbs with his chainsaw he will be able to see what he needs to do and have a clean place to work. I also fired up the grilled and grilled mushrooms, zukes, onions, peppers and eggplant. The mushrooms were the best. Also grilled small beef steaks and some pork steaks for supper the rest of the week. Ate our black-eyed peas too. No walking at work today, was 14degrees with 20mile winds. Brrrrr, for Arkansas.

We just threw some chicken tenders (thawed because we had a bad experience with putting frozen chicken in the crockpot) and about half a medium container of Pace Picante and it was quite tasty! Anyone else tried it?
