I do celery and carrot sticks. Also almonds are a good energy booster. They have 100 calorie packs and they are good.

Fruit is great, as are cut-up veggies. If you need protein, the light string cheese with a couple of whole-grain crackers is also terrific.

I have increased my fruit intake, I did this by setting the clock that every two hours I eat. Helps on the snaking.

Some of my favorite snacks are: Greek yogurt, Rold Gold pretzels dipped in Laughing cow cheese, a banana, pineapple with cottage cheese, veggies. The Laughing Cow Cheese is only 35 calories a wedge and you could use it for a couple of crackers, or even on celery. It's really versatile. I use it with the pretzels and you could always eat 1/2 a serving of pretzels to lower the calories.

I've been getting really run down during the day. Does anyone have any good ideas for good snacks that will help with energy without being to calorific?

Right now I'm doing string cheese and fruit.
