For veggies, I eat a lot of baby carrots dipped in hummus or light ranch dressing, sometimes celery dipped in either as well.
Whole wheat bagel thins with some natural PB and sliced banana is yummy, or hummus on the bagel and maybe some fresh spinach or a slice of tomato!
Sometimes I make my own trail mix - I weigh out small portions of almonds, cashews, dried cherries and sunflower seeds and throw together in a baggie.
Make your own bean dip with 1/2 cup of pinto beans, 2 TBS salsa and some cumin/paprika/chili powder to taste - mash to desired consistency and enjoy with some pita chips or tortilla chips.
One of my recent favorites is a slice of whole wheat toast with a slice of FF cheese on it put in the toaster oven until warm and gooey - like an open faced grilled cheese without the extra butter, etc. Yum!
The rest of the snacks I have are generally have are pre-packaged like yogurt, FF pudding, lots of different fruits, etc. If you're having yogurt, throw some almonds and/or diced fresh fruit into it.
Have some plain animal crackers or low fat graham crackers dipped in yogurt.
Bagel thins or toast with laughing cow cheese are great too; add your favorite raw veggies for a little something more!

One of my new healthy snack loves is celery sticks with Laughing Cow cheese spread stuffed into them. I also keep a small can of Smokehouse Almonds at my desk at the office, and ration myself to half a serving when I need something crunchy. I also posted a recipe here for Basic Won Ton Chips - much healthier for you than fried potato chips - and I make my own hummus to dip them in.

I don't know about you, but I really struggle with "how" to eat healthy foods. I know that when I choose a snack, it should be a fruit or veggie or wholegrain, but I want to know how to eat it in an interesting and yummy way. Instead of just having it plain, I want to know how you dress it up! For example, a baked potato. I dress mine up by adding low-fat sour cream, a little grated low-fat cheese and some fresh chives.
How do you dress up your healthy snacks? What are the best ways you like to eat fruits, veggies and wholegrains?
