I'm 40 days into eating gluten free. Guess how hard that can make breakfast. I also need to watch carbs because of diabetes. One of the special breakfasts I like is HUVEROS RANCHEROS when I have time. On semi-crisp corn tortillas. I also eat oats. I do minute oats and top with Honey, almonds & dried cranberries. Once you take wheat out you find you do have to eat healthier choices. You have to watch how many corn products you eat - after all corn is what they fatten up hogs with. Make a crust less quiche and have a serving everyday. Really easy to pop in microwave to heat up. Also good way to get in a serving of veggies at breakfast time.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been having a toasted multigrain english muffin with 1 tbsp of almond butter on my way to work. Then, an hour or two later I have a half a cup of fat free greek yogurt with some berries and flax seeds. Yum!

Oatmeal and toast. I love the Fiber One multigrain bread and put a little butter on it. I put lots of cinnamon on a half cup of instant oatmeal and then sweeten it with honey. Sticks with me until lunch and has lots of fiber! Yum!

8oz plain ff/lf yogurt, 8oz mixed dole fruits(straw, blue, blackberries) or (pineapple, mango, peach, strawberry). with 20grams of Bob's Mill high fiber hot cereal, that is most days. These can be prepared ahead of time so they can be just grab and go meals.
1c egg substitute, 1 light english muffin, 2 tbls sugar free jam or strawberry/rhubarb spread(home made), 8oz of fruit (apple, oranges, pineapple, mango, clementines).
each morning I drink 8oz of water while preparing my lunch, I have a tea and a coffee with SF creamer each morning.
On weekends when I have enough time to cook then I make a special recipe that I have looked up during the week.
I hope this was helpful for some ideas.

Hard boiled egg - x2

today was bad - work was making waffles as a reward for all our good work on a project. I ate one of those today and had my eggs with lunch.

I only ate one of the waffles but it was big. I was really careful and only used like 2 tsp of syrup.

Other days I like to have cottage cheese with fruit - usually canned peaches in light syrup. Yesterday it was some cut up fresh orange with my cottage cheese.

Today it was a whole grain tortilla with some almond butter spread on top and some bananas, cinnamon - then folded up like a burrito...

Many days I eat egg beaters (egg whites with mushrooms, onions, spinach) and cooked frittata style. Sometimes I put cheese on top - other times I don't.

I also eat toast with peanut/almond butter, nuts, oatmeal and sometimes breakfast sausage (vegi)...

Cold cereal with 1 cup almond or 1% milk (usually Special K) with a fruit and/or yogurt

Whole wheat bagel thin with poached or scrambled egg and slice of FF cheese, sometimes with a little FF/LF cream cheese too

Brown Sugar Maple instant oatmeal

Cream of wheat with a little almond milk and sometimes fresh fruit stirred in

Whole wheat tortilla w/ 1 TBS all natural peanut butter wrapped around a banana

Whole wheat bagel thin, 1 TBS PB and sliced banana

Veggie omelet and whole wheat bagel thin or toast

Whole wheat toast topped with sliced hardboiled egg, orange or banana on the side

Sometimes I get on "kicks" and eat something multiple times throughout the week, other times I change it up every day. I have a weekly meal plan that I usually try to stick to fairly closely.

I have never really enjoyed breakfast because I love savory foods (a lot more than the sweeter yogurts, cereals, oatmeal, etc) and have found it very hard to have a savory breakfast while at work. Until now...

1 Bagel thin (Thomas brand)
1.5 tbsp of weight watchers whipped cream cheese
1 (sometimes 2) Veggie Sausage patties by Morningstar

I put the frozen veggie patty in the micro for 35 seconds, spread the cream cheese onto the bagel thin and enjoy a healthy, low calorie, and savory breakfast that keeps me satisfied for hours!

Total calories are only 230 (70 extra calories if I add another sausage patty) and it has a lot of protein. If I ever have leftover avocado from an earlier meal, I will add a few thin slices increasing the total calories to about 280-300.

I usually eat oatmeal out of a pack with 3 oz of skim milk. Or if I wake up and get my workout done in time, I'll treat myself to 2 pieces of center cut bacon, an egg white, .5 oz of American cheese fresh basil on a 100 calorie english muffin. I loves it!

There will be ups and downs during this journey. But as long as you put your best and healthy foot forward, you'll see the change that will make this journey worth traveling.

Van's dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free blueberry toaster waffles, with a smear of whipped cream cheese. I also frequently eat scrambled eggs, usually with salsa or broccoli and some shredded cheddar cheese. And every now and then, I'll have two quaker fruit and cream instant oatmeal packets.

I have never been much of a breakfast eater, but I force myself to have something (and it has to be easy...I love to sleep late).

I have a package of Quaker Instant Oatmeal (any kind...they make some great flavors, even the fruit ones) and either an apple or a banana.

On the weekends, I like to make whole wheat pancakes with raspberries...found the recipe on Allrecipes.com. It's an easy, healthy (and fantastic) recipe!

I have a few favorites depending on the season:
*arnold thin/100 calorie english muffin, toasted, with cottage cheese and black berries on top
*fage yogurt with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of grape nuts and a handful of berries or a banana
*high fiber oatmeal with a piece of fruit
*on the weekends when I have time to cook I'll make a "bird in a nest" with some fruit on the side or a yummy egg bake (the recipe is in spark recipes).

I have never had steel cut oats. How are they different from regular oats like quaker oats?

I usually have Kashi GoLean Crisp mixed with Greek yogurt. During the winter I will have oatmeal with raspberries and a little Splenda.

Steel cut oats with 3-5 egg whites, cinnamon, splenda and blueberries on top. I make this the night before and then just grab it on my way out the door or eat it before I got work out. It stays with me until afternoon. Otherwise I'll have fage yogart and cottage cheese with blueberries.

I forgot. I also like laughing cow cheese spread on a whole wheat english muffin with some apple slices like a sandwich.

My mom lost over 1009 lbs eating toast with peanut butter every morning. I eat Jimmy Dean D'lights or fruit or a mini bagel with cream cheese most days. Sometimes I will fix an egg white omlet with fat free cheese. Oatmeal is another option for me.

I mix a container of fat free yogurt with some fresh fruit. I take it to work and throw it together there and eat at my desk.

I will eat peanut butter toast, I have boiled egg on hand in frig, bowl of cereal and toasted frozen waffles with flavored cream cheese. This is a variety of what I eat.

I'll admit it, I'm HORRIBLE at eating breakfast, I know I'm supposed to and I really do feel better when I do but when my alarm goes off and I think through my options of sleeping longer or eating breakfast, sleeping always wins..but I'm trying..so I was just curious for conversation sake, what does everyone else eat for breakfast?
