The original red plaid Better Homes & Gardens cookbook ROCKS! SO many of the recipes are really healthy, or close and just need a bit of tweaking. I have never had anything not turn out and not love it.
I also have the Better Homes & Garden's Cooking for Two. I wish they made a low cal. version of this one, I really love it. Decent recipe calorie counts, though.

I also get daily recipes from myrecipes.com (which is cookinglight, southern living, and a few others), from sparkpeople and self.com.
I bought a 1,200 calories a day cookbook from Amazon.com. Great recipes, glad I bought it, BUT, several of the recipes call for Molly McButter, egg beaters... I prefer to use the real deal, just less if necessary. Great ideas, though - breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, dessert - mix and match and it is 1,200 or less every day!
