Share some interesting recipes as you travel your 21 day vegan journey. I'm currently doing meatless Mondays; I like to have some variety but to keep the family happy and not thinking about meatless -- the ever present cheese sneaks in. So please...share some interesting recipes that I can incorporate into our lives.
You should try it and take the challenge - you might be surprised. My hubster is a "meat and potato" guy (SAD diet) but he doesn't mind going vegan every once and a while. Always amazed at everything you can eat still... I believe if you eat dairy by-products and fish sometimes you can call yourself a flexitarian if you want to... or a pescetarian is a "vegetarian" that eats fish.
Sorry if the challenge was posted somewhere else on the forum site here... there are so many, I'm sure it won't hurt anyone to see it again if you already know about it. Thanks for bringing my eyes to it though.
Hey everyone! I found this wonderful website that has a 21 Day Kickstart Vegan Program. So, if you are looking to try out this new lifestyle, just looking for a challenge, or maybe looking for a healthier way to eat - I urge everyone to try out this wonderful challenge. It was started by Neal Barnard, M.D. and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. The website has free menu plans and also motivational help. It has all the free recipes and so on. All you have to do is go to the website, print off the recipes and follow along. It also has webcasts to help you and also celebrity tips! As it states, " Low-fat vegan—plant-based—diets are the easiest way to trim excess weight, prevent diabetes, cut cholesterol, lower blood pressure, prevent and reverse heart disease, and reduce cancer risk. They even trim our carbon footprint." Can't lose!!
