Here is a new recipe that I fell in love with a few months ago. I got it from another blogger however I have changed it slightly to fit into my needs.
1/2 medium sweet potato - peeled (optional), boiled and cooled 1/4 c. rice milk (Probably could use dairy however I have never tried) 1/2 c. small banana 1/4 apple dash nutmeg 1/2 tbsp agave nectar (or other sweetener) 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 c. ice cubes
Blend everything together and you get this wonderful orange smoothie that tastes sweet but not overkill. Sometimes I throw in a little flaxseed and kale for health purposes and you can't tell the difference. Enjoy!
