So yesterday was my scheduled cheat meal and boy did I want pizza and wings. When all is said and done with a cheat meal like that I will have bascially undone all the hard work of the week before so I came up with my version of pizza and wings; homemade chicken wing pizza!!
I took a pound of chicken cutlets, cooked and shredded them. Made my wing sauce and was very careful with the amount of butter used. I then dunked the chicken shreds into the sauce and topped it on a refrigerated pizza dough. I used the extra wing sauce to fill in the blanks and topped with reduced fat cheese and bannan peppers.
It was amazing, I got my fill of pizza and wings in one bite and since I made it, I controlled the calories (so there was room for me to dip it in some light ranch dressing!!)
Even when we want to have our cheat moments, we can still be careful and have those things we crave with a little control!!
