Eating out can be quite a challenge and sometimes you just have to pick the lesser of the evils. If I have pie I try to eat SF pie if they have it and I dump the crust. It helps a little.

Well hello to all today. I had my first big temptation today now some may say oh well or big deal but for me it was. I went to a resturant and wanted the big deluxe burger with cheese and all the fixings but instead it I had a spring mix salad with ff ranch dressing and a bowl of cabbage soup. My friend got a big dessert and I had a piece of pumpkin pie. So it may not have been the greatest choice but it was my lunch and dinner so it could have been so worse. I know I must take one day at a time so I will be doing that,usually I have been thinking ahead and counting calories or picking healthy food. I hopefully will make good choices. thanks for letting me vent.
Hi my name is susie and I did this last year but didn't keep up with it. I kept making excuses why I would do better tomorrow and I need to take one day at a time and stick with it. I have been watching my intake of food and trying to eat healthy for the past 3 days. I know thats not very long but I am going to stick with this. I am tired of buying new clothes all the time or saving small sizes and hoping someday I will fit in them. I figure if I can get down to 160 from 190 then I will have to reward myself and buy a few new ones. I am hoping when I reach my goal if I am happy with the size and weight maybe thats what its meant to be and will take it from there. I do know that 140 sounds good but I don't want to get ahead of myself . I am a caregiver for my husband who had a stroke 1 yr. ago and is going through radiation for prostate cancer till end of October. I have been trying to excercise more since the weather has been nice. when it gets colder I have plenty to keep me busy in the house and with my excercise equipment. I just need to dust it off. well say a prayer for me and lets all keep the faith. susie50123
