Actually you can have Kosher Organic food. I know that many of the dietary laws were established for reasons of health as well. However I don't follow a kosher diet so I get whatever looks better to me. I always cook with kosher salt. I think that Kosher and Organic are just different, not that one is healthier or better than the other.
Thank you for your information. so does this mean that organic meats are healthier than the Kosher meats? Does this mean that kosher meats following the Jewish laws - are not organic as well? the Kosher meats can have chemicals in them etc?
Kosher meat is a meat that falls within the Jewish dietary laws. These laws preclude certain foods, certain combinations of foods, as well as how the animals are slaughtered. Organic is more about the use of pesticides, the environment in which the meat or poultry is kept, the food it is feed, etc.
