Hi Kelly! Yes, taking a Bikram yoga class is quite the experience! It really is quite a bit different than hot yoga classes, even hot yoga classes that include some Bikram postures. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

I have been taking "HOT" classes for a while. When my studio offered a "hot" class that was 95+ degrees I was all in. It was the Bikram poses and the room was hot. I thought this was the most awesome class ever. I thought this was Bikram.
THEN, I went to my first REAL Bikram studio last Sunday. Let me tell you it was absolutely nothing like at the regular studio. The heat and humidity were no joke. I loved it even more than I did the previous experiences. I will be going back every Sunday during the winter when I can't cycle. I just wonder how I'm ever going to get back to cycling. LOL
I am glad I tried it at a regular studio so I knew what the poses were but it was honestly a totally different practice.
