Hi Maggie! I think it's realistic. Just make sure that you stay hydrated. And if you feel yourself getting too run down or weak, pull back a bit. There is no shame in giving yourself a break.

Wow, synchronicity ~~ wait, oops this is a very old post that I'm replying to.
Well, SaltyChocolate, if you're reading this, I think I'm going to challenge myself to three hot yoga classes a week from now through my birthday, which is Feb 7th.
Three a week - that's a good, realistic challenge, right?
Happy Thanksgiving to all, by the way ~
Maggie

Please have a Team Challenge that includes:
1) drinking 8 cups a water a day
2) eat at least 5 servings of fruit or veggies
3) sleep at least 6 hours and this includes naps lol

Thanks!

I've thought of doing the 30 day challenge, but that would mean practicing through my cycle, and that's not realistic for me. I need those days of rest. At the moment, I do hot yoga four days a week. It would be an upset to my family, I think, if I did more than that. I find it hard to get away for those four classes as it is.

Perhaps the challenge could be more goal related than activity related. It could be whatever speaks to you for this month be it fitness, diet, meditation, more time with your kids, or clutterbusting etc.

I've been trying to think of something since I saw this post. I didn't want to just let it sit without responding. Here are some that I've thought of and the reasons I didn't post them.

1) I'd love to do 30 days of Bikram - I don't have a studio that offers a class every day. My studio only offers it every other Sunday.

2) 30 minutes of fitness is pretty easy for me since I workout about 60 minutes a day. That's not to say it's not a challenge for others and not a good challenge.

3) You could post your workouts every day but most people fall off after a few days.

Anyway, just my ramblings. I didn't want no one to respond to your request.

Hello all!
I'd like to have a team challenge for June. Yes, I know the month has already started but that's ok. What are your ideas? The challenge can be bikram-related or not.
One of my thoughts was to just challenge everyone to 30 minutes of exercise each day. Just post your minutes on a thread; I will start one as soon as we decide on a challenge.
Thanks for your input team mates!
