Go to your Spark homepage and find the Healthy Lifestyle at the top, click on the recipe section and in there is a wonderful recipe calculator. You enter your ingredients and then have the option of how many servings. that should help you.

Well, I am not positive, I know your question completely or the answer you are looking for exactly. However, there is a few ways.

JoAnna usually had you cook things in a certain size dish (usually square or rectangle) to make it easier to cut the dish into that amount of serving sizes. She also tried mainly to go with serving sizes that were easy to cut. (2, 4, 6, 8) If it was soup or something she gave the cup measurement per a serving. For you making up your own, I used to get another big pot/bowl and use my largest measuring cup and measure it cup for cup and then split the total by the servings I wanted it to have. However, a friend gave me a better idea, if you have a digital food scale, put the bowl on the scale hit it so it will be at zero and then fill the bowl/serving dish with the complete amount of food, then you can divide the weight amongst the servings and then you can weigh out your serving size.

Greetings friends,

Well, I have been working away on trying to convert many of my favorite country style, high calorie recipes over to good healthy ones. I've been looking up all of the nutritional data and everything that I can find so that I will know the exacts in a recipe. I am having a problem trying to figure out a serving size. If a recipe says it serves 8 or 10 or whatever, how do you figure out what the serving size is? Can anyone help me please?

Thanks ,
Gwen
