Thanks Sharon, I appreciate your help here. This is so new to me but looks like a great site to learn and grow with. I found the daily chat so I will see you there! Karen
Kayrah We are usually on the daily chat 2013 every day. That is where we get the support, advice and tips. You might want to look at the new comers helpful tips and we have separate section on here just for recipes. Not all of us is doing the plan, but we still come here as this is a great group of people who care about each other. The step counter only works to syncn with fit bit and think you can enter your information for your steps or what ever exercise you do. I am Sharon and I am type 1 and I did lose 106 and have gain almost 40 back, as I went off plan and stop exercising because the pain got so bad. Am trying to get back into it again and am just not motivate and just don't have the energy.
I do track my foods from time to time on spark and mostly do keep a journal which I write in every day. I learned from experience from one time that when I lost 34 lbs in 7 weeks and never kept a journal and now wish I did so I can repeat what I did to have the same results. Now I keep a journal.
Every now and then we do have challenges and think right now is no sugar or white stuff such as flour, white rice etc.
Just do the best that you can. Hope that you have a great day and good for you in being pop all day.
Maybe you haven't reached all your goals yet-but who has? And maybe you've made a few mistakes along the way-but who hasn't? You have every reason to feel proud of who you are. Notice your triumphs, big and small. There are so many.
Doing your best is important than being the best.
Hi I wanted to say hi and report that I was POP all day! I am hoping to be back on track after a hiatus that cost me 50lbs..... somehow! I was doing real well and going to the gym a lot, then I added regular food in and continued the gym very well,.. but it creeped back and then I had some health issues and I couldn't do the gym as much and more creeped on and now I am 6 weeks recovered (6 more to 100%) from shoulder surgery, but I am well enough to get my food on track and add some exercise and get back to goal. I do 100% well.... I do off plan horrible... I think I have to eat OP for life :)
A couple questions: I see step counters mentioned is this something people are using? I probably just need a new battery and mine would work, just curious how it fits into plan?
Is there a place Bs meet? I am a B but I think the plan is quite similar for all so maybe that isn't as important now?
Are there contests? Recipes? Just for 6WBMO members? Do you all use any of the sparkpeople apps or your own? How do you suggest tracking food intack? I use Loseit! App and just curious if others use anything. That is it for now, but thank you all for being here. K-
