WOW...you read my email!!!
I wrote Sharon today that we need to get back on Six Weeks, but to be STRICT with
it...or POP..so, I am with you LA, and I hope others. Let us be accountable to each other
every day. When we do not check it...well, it may make others think we are not sticking to
it. I will be back in the morning, Lord willing, and I will be pop. I am going in to the kitchen
right now and boil me a dozen eggs. I will put on some brown rice in my little rice cooker,
I have chicken tenderloins already cooked, and some zucchini and onions waiting for
tomorrow. I even have grapefruits!! YAY!

Thank you LA, Let us do it. we need each others enthusiasm...come on yawl.

OMG, I see I did not read all LA post...got too excited.
I am sorry, I cannot wait until the 19, as I need it now, so will start tomorrow.
I think the Monday before Thanksgiving on Thursday will just set me up for failure.
I generally cook my goodies on Tues. and Wed. before Thanksgiving...I need a good
week to kinda get some roots down.
Love you all...

Sounds like our team is really down! This is the worst we've been since I joined. It's not good when we are all on a low. What do we need to pull us out of this? I am not doing well at all and I feel like a big failure -- some leader I've been! I am working on my attitude. I am up 7-8 pounds from ticker weight. When i look back at where i was this summer and how fast i am putting it back on, it makes me so mad at myself! There has been one thing after another since summer, but I am sick of all my excuses. Sharon, and the rest of us, we didn't get to goal or so close to goal to gain it all back, did we? I do believe our only answer is one we probably won't like too much. Back to STRICTLY POPPING on MT6WBMO. AGAIN. It works. We know it works. It is the ONLY PLAN that has ever worked consistently for me. We have all been around the diet block enough. I am sick of the mountain I've been going around. Who wants to seriously start back on 6 weeks? We could take off Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Year's Eve & Day. That's 6 days off total but then no taking off after that, until maybe Valentine and then Easter. We could start on Monday, November 19. That gives us time to cook and store up food and get our heads in the game. I am afraid if I wait until after the holidays I will be very sorry! At least this way, at worst, we can maintain through them. I need some support and I need serious commitments. We have been dangling too long girls. Lynn, we welcome you! Maybe you can give us a push!

Lynn welcome to our team. Back in Feb. I did lose 106 lbs and I did have 22 more lbs to lose to get to goal, but I went off and went on different plans and when I am stress out, burn out I turn to food for comfort and instead of having 22 lbs left to lose now I have 37 left to lose to get to my goal and was hoping to reach my goal by the end of the year and now it is not going to happen. I always seem to come back to six weeks as I most of the time get better results with this than any other plans. You can do it.

Maybe you haven't reached all your goals yet-but who has? And maybe you've made a few mistakes along the way-but who hasn't? You have every reason to feel proud of who you are. Notice your triumphs, big and small. There are so many.

different teams that I've been on have certainly helped me get back in the groove. and right now I haven't been doing well either. In the past 6wbm has worked for me so I'm considering retrying that.

Hi every one

I am not doing too good, been under alot of stress, when I am under alot of stress and very tired I turn to food, I been eating any thing and every thing ,my weight is back up again.I will not be reaching my goal by the end of the year.I am having a hard time getting back with my plan again and am just not with it. I am really feeling it now, my knees and my hip start bothering me now. I can't gain any more weight because I got rid of my big size clothes as I don't want to be back to where I was so hopefully tomorrow will be back on six weeks. I haven't done any exercises for almost 2 weeks and when power was out and my husband was down here and I don't feel comfortable working out when he is around. I am suppose to go to a cross country banquet tonight and don't know if we are going or not as we are suppose to get up to 4" or more of snow. today and now dealing with more stress that I don't need.

I think some of us are struggling right now and having a hard time, hope that we will be able to get over this hump. We were all doing so good. We need to get this team back together again as I think we do better together as a team.

Hope that you all have a great day.

Maybe you haven't reached all your goals yet-but who has? And maybe you've made a few mistakes along the way-but who hasn't? You have every reason to feel proud of who you are. Notice your triumphs, big and small. There are so many.

Hi all. Quick note. I am alive. I was gone for a week to ranch without Internet. I am catching up. I am up a few pounds. So depressing. I will check back tomorrow. Hugs

Hi All -
I took last Friday off and we went out Thurs night then over to the other coast (Ft. Pierce) on Saturday to meet up with my DH's bestie and his gf, and her parents. It was really fun and didn't care about the long drive or the car dying half way home. I used my wiley charms to get a jump! haha

I had a great day today -- always do the first Monday after moving the clock back - I'm finally waking up EARLY! I did some meditation and exercise before starting on yard work, I was up at 7 and when I looked at the clock again it was 9:45 oh my!

Sharon, I am so glad you and your family are in one piece, I hope you are warm.

Caroline - funny girl - at least it wasn't candy corn!!!

I wonder how Brook is these days??

LA - taking any time for you?

Jan ------ unpack already! Come by and say hello! We miss you.

I'm getting the balance back into my life. God is good. We have to dance around the crap that gets flung in our direction - emotionally, mentally and physically. It's our ability to cope with an open, loving heart that gives us joy.

Heather -

Sharon I'm so glad to hear from you and that you and your family are safe. I can't imagine what you gone through, with no power and all the damage. Hopefully there will not be another storm.

Heather, it's good to hear from you. Hope all is well with you and your family. It sounds like you are under a lot of stress these days.

Caroline, congrats on getting back on track. I know you can lose those 7lbs before Thanksgiving.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone

Good morning every one

Caroline thank you for the prayer request and I really appreciate that and to every one thank you for all your prayers and your thoughts. We survive the storm and it was a very rough week with out power. We lost our power Mon. night at 11:30 and we got our power back on Fri. morning at 9:00, am the school were closed for 5 days, even though the school were closed my son had his last marching band game last night and it was raining earlier and it was freezing, don't know why they just didn't cancel it. We use our oven to keep a little warm, my bedroom was freezing and couldn't sleep try to bury myself under covers,we have a small generator to use for the refrigator, light and tv, try to pluck in the deep chest freezer but it was just too much power for generator so we had to keep putting ice in it. We have some damages here, alot of broken branches, plastic paneling rip off the porch ceiling, some shingles were rip off the roof, some screens got rip off our windows, the awning on our trailer got rip off and completely destroyed. The important thing is we survive the storm, we are alive and we still have our house. My best friend and her family who lives 2 hours away from me are still with out power. We are suppose to get hit next week with another storm Rosa and we are suppose to get hit with snow. Please continue to pray for us.

Heard from Sharon this a.m. early, they are ok, but did get some bad damage to their home.
Glad their power is back on as quickly as it is. It usually takes them a bit to get hers going
again.
You will hear from her soon I am sure. I hope so.
She has been through a lot of stress.

I just put my chicken on and I am trying hard to take off 7 lbs. before Thanksgiving.
Only have 5 more to go, and will set another small goal between then and Christmas time.
I am not sure right now what it will be...I will see how much a struggle this is, and if not too
much, then I will press myself a little harder.

I am still walking to the Wii Walk it Out...still loving it, and that may very well be how I lost
two pounds last week. I was over 8000 one day only on the wii. Rest of the day my steps were
about 7000 so that was a bunch of steps for me amounting to I guess 15,000. I am still hurting in my hips and knees, but
some days are worse than others. The weather has a big affect on it.

Missing everyone as a "team"on a regular basis.
God bless and have a great weekend.

Caroline

Hi all !

Wow Michelle came back!! And double WOW you blew past me!!! Good job girlie :) It's nice to see you here again, you were missed! Do you know what got you over the 145 hump? I'd love to hear! I remember the struggles.

Sharon - no sign of you here or on FB.....oh my - I hope you are staying warm if the power is out. That's one more reason I like Florida. Power out = sweating not shivering. I'm saying a prayer now that you get the support you need to deal with whatever that storm dumped on you.

Caroline - so you're a fit-bit mama eh? Good for you - anything that inspires is well worth it.

LA - did you make it thru the candy holiday unscathed? Hope so!!! I'm taking tomorrow off, so I won't be walking. I'm going to hit a community rummage sale VERY early though! Usually I go on Saturday and never realized they start it on Friday - it's an annual thing and they usually have TONS of stuff at good deals.

Well I just wanted to say hello to anyone still posting - I'm still not ready to be "regular" again but I will try to get around more often. Really hope this holiday season isn't my undoing.......

Heather -

I tried to down load fit bit onto my ipod, and I can't because I have an older 2nd generation ipod.

I didn't get that many steps either today as kind of my lay back day and don't really do any thing on Sun. as that is my only day to relax.

My husband just told me that my son school is close tomorrow. Yay I get to sleep later if I can.
Also PP&L people called left a message on my answering machine saying for every one to be prepare as we could be with out power for 1 week. Please I hope nothing happens here. I guess it is going to be pretty bad here as they are closing down school all over, public transportation and so on.

Have a great evening every one.

I got over 9000 steps yesterday, and it was so cute to see FitBit come on my Ipod and
urge me to get up and do the 1000 more to make it to 10,000.

I had MT breakfast, but must eat out today, and will try to make it MT as best I can.

Hi team,

Sharon I am believing the hurricane will fizzle out. I don't want to believe the way the news spins everything. I hope it is just a spin trying to distract from the election. We will see. Anyway I am praying. I hope you are able to get your hope back up and put away your stress. Attitude will determine your altitude. I know you are having a very difficult time. Remember this time with your son is very temporary and gaining weight will only make your life heavier. I hope you are able to find peace in your storms. emoticon focus on positives like 70,000 steps in a week!

Caroline it is good to see you motivated again by TOPs. You can do this. 7 pounds is very easy when you are focused and determined!

Michelle, you are doing amazing. Thank you for coming back. I have been missing your beautiful smile around here.

Caroline Thanks and glad to hear that your knee pain is letting up. I did the walk it out today but for only for 45 minutes as I walk 6 days this week and finally met my goal of 70, 000 steps this week.

Just got back from TOPS Fall Rally and all pumped up to be good.
I just did my 32 min . walk. I do not want to increase too much too fast. I guess if my legs
are not bothering me now, then might be getting conditioned. So happy today to see cars
in my parking lot (wii walk it out) LOL
I was impressed that I went upstairs and walked after coming home from the rally. Usually
I just chill out for the afternoon if I do one thing in the morning...lol
Laughing a lot today because I am not hurting...guess it is a good pressure system from the
hurricane, or perhaps the the effects of the walking are starting to kick in.
I prayed for you Sharon, and you all take precaution

Sharon, so sorry about all the stress you are under. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the storm doesn't come your way. It does sound very scary to be in it's path.

It's sort of funny that you wrote about forgetting your fitbit the other day. I did just that yesterday. I wore it in the morning, but forgot to put it on after I changed my clothes. Oh we'll, today is another day. I love that little thing. I would love to be fitbit friends, but have no idea how to do it. By the way, the goal weight on my ticker is only an interm goal. As soon as I reach it, I'll make another goal.

I know that when you are ready you will get your eating back under control. I know you can do it.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi every one

This past few days has been very stress full for me with my son activities and thank God the season for cross country and marching band is coming to an end. After tonight my son will have 1 more foot ball game for marching band. Then next week or the week after wrestling season starts and that means every Sat. have to get up at 4:00 to be out of the house by 5:00. I am getting so burn out, I just can't do this any more especially when every thing falls on me and my husband can't drive as he have cactracts and can't see and is not having the surgery done. Food wise has not been good for me, I ate any thing and every thing, I am up 3 lbs today and the other day was up 2 lbs so that is 5 lbs the last few days. I did walk at the track 3 days this weeks and walk at home the other days.

We are suppose to get hit with a very bad storm heading up this way in PA next week, please pray for us that we don't get hit and that the storm will go the other way, I am very worried about the storm.

Michele you are getting so very close to your goal and am proud of you and I know that it has taken you a very long time to get there and you prove no matter how long it will take you to get to your goal and that you will get there. About the fit bit I really love mine, and it was given to me as a gift from a very special person. One day I was in a rush to take my son to school and I forgot to put my fit bit on and walk at the track 12 times and really did alot of walking that day and must of did maybe 15,000 steps and was so mad that day of all days to forget my fit bit. Now I will always try to remember to put my fit bit on. How about us being friends on fit bit Michele? so we can see how many steps we do and encourage one another.

Caroline, sorry to hear that you were sick, but am glad that you are feeling better now. I'm sure you'll get those 3 pounds off quickly.

We're having Santa Ana winds today, so I don't know if I'll be able to walk outside today. I will try to walk a couple of miles to Leslie though.

Where have our team members disappeared to?

Have a great day everyone.

After gaining 3 lbs. while sick for 3 weeks, I am not focused on being the best I can and
set a goal for seven pounds before Thanksgiving.

I will fix my ticker.

Come on y'all....let us take off now what we think we will put on for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Hi all. Just wanted to stop by and say hi. It's beautiful here today and I just came back from walking the dog. We did about a mile and a half. I'll do a Leslie video to get a few more miles in. I shoot for at least 10,000 steps a day. Caroline and Sharon, how are you liking your fit its? I just love mine!

Have a good day everyone.

Hi all!!! Thanks for all your kind words. I am on plan totally today. Yesterday I botched it for a meal. It was a celebration meal for my kiddos safe homecoming. I hope everyone has a great POP day and enjoys life. emoticon

LA, glad your BP is down as that can be scary. Sometimes we can cause it to go up, but
it not be high blood pressure disease as some people have.
Good weight loss...wow. Sharon is back on track and losing and I am so proud of you all.
Good to see Michele, as I really miss your smiling face.

I have done my wii walk it out, and power went off and thought the little wii box was a goner
but dh came up there and got it going again. I am tired and that means I did pretty good.

Fixing to go have my pop snack, had my pop breakfast...not appetizing, but healthy:
2 egg whites scrambled with a cup of spinach, and ...oh my!...pumpkin salsa. It was spicy
pumpkin and it was it put a lot of flavor to the egg whites. I think I will get me a few jars for
the future as they will be gone after the holidays....Aldi brand.

Have a great day...off to make a bagpipe chanter bag for my brother. I made one yesterday
but after I finished it I saw a prettier design in my mind. It is the Stewart Black Watch tartan.
(Andy where are you??? I am of the house of Bruce....YES!!)

Good morning everyone,

Leeanna, glad to hear your blood pressure is normal. And congrats for losing 7 pounds! That must feel great. You sound super busy as always. I'm sure your daughter will appreciate all that you do for her.

Sharon, I'm glad that you are starting to lose again and that you seem to have your binging under control. I know how frustrating it is to go up and down those same pounds, over and over and over. But you will get past it, you've done it before and you can do it again. Good for you walking with Leslie Sansone. I walk with her almost every day.

Not much new with me. Just trying to keep busy. It seems like I'm forever either cleaning the house or cleaning up my veggie garden or walking. I've been eating pretty healthy, not MT, but I do use some of the recipes. That's all for now, the dog is waiting for me to take her on a walk.

Have a good day everyone.

LeAnna glad to hear that your blood pressure been in the normal range and that is good. Way to go on your 7 lbs loss and keep it up. I am sure your daughter will appreciate every thing that you have done for her.

I have lost some of the weight that I have gain from my binge and was hoping to lose past my ticker weight but it didn't happen this week. As I am up or two lbs more than my ticker weight from 2 weeks ago. I am doing better with my plan but every now and then will have 1 or 2 things off plan and it is a whole lot better than binging. I have been doing my exercises. Won't be on my plan tonight for dinner as we are going to the cross country dinner and will be back on my plan tomorrow morning.

Am going to do my walk to Leslie Sanone now before I get lazy later on that I won't do it. It is rainy here and very dreary. Have a great day every one.

Well my blood pressure has been in Normal range for the past FIVE DAYS. woo hoo. Lost 7 lbs last week. Hoping to continue momentum. I can't believe it's been a week since I posted here! Seems like only a day. I spent past 4-5 days organizing and cleaning and decorating my daughters house. She is in Denmark with her husband and daughter until tomorrow. Tonight finally got most of it finished. Tomorrow will put couple of finishing touches. In think it will take her several days. May be weeks before she notices all the little things I did. I even refolded all the granddaughters clothes In dresser and things like that. It was my birthday gift to her, since she works every day dropping off her daughter at daycare at 7:15 am and picking her up at 6:30 pm. Long hard days for her and never time to organize or keep up her home. I can't wait for their return home at 7:30 pm tomorrow!

I have been popping like crazy. Like Sharon, in want to be at goal by holidays but mostly I want to be healthy.

Michelle!!! Yea to see you post. Will check on that fitbit.
How are you? What is new?

Remember to vote early everyone!

Live and hugs! Leeanna

Hi every one

I had to take my son to school very early this morning as he was going to be on live tv news, the alarm clock was going off for 22 minutes before I realize that the alarm clock was going off. Hurried up get up, start preparing my smoothie, heat up coffee and get my snack together, wake up my son, stop off at Walmart as he need to pick up dorito chips for school. Went to track and did my walk for 45 minutes as part of my knee was bothering and my back other wise I would of done more. Am still on track and hoping to see 3 lbs gone by tomorrow and hoping to have a goal every week of at least 3 lbs. Am going to have my snack and go back to sleep for a while as I am really tired.

Have a great day every one.

Michele great to see you here as I miss you and our team is not the same when our friends are missing from our team, glad to see that you finally broke through your plateau. I don't know if you track your steps on fit bit.com or on spark but if you do track your steps on fit bit.com and I would like to request to be friends with you on fit bit so we can see how many steps we do every day and Also Caroline is friends with me too on fit bit and we can encourage one other.

Caroline if you are going to use coca make sure you get the sugar free, or you can have a small dark chocolate squares every day. I know when I was on food lover you can have a square of dark chocolate every day but it had to be at least 80 % coca or dark chocolate.

I got off track for awhile and kept on binging, gained some weight and now am back on track again, have been on track for 3 days now. I find it so easy to get off track and so hard to get back with it again. I still need to lose 3 more lbs to get me past my ticker weight. Hopefully I will stay on track till I get to my goal. I have 9 more weeks to go to get to my goal and would really like to be at my goal by the end of the year.

Great to see every one else here posting and hopefully the rest of our team will come back.

Have a great day every one.

Hi team,

It's been a while since I've checked in. Thanks for checking on me LeAnna. I've not been following The MT program, but just trying to eat healthy and count calories. And like Caroline and Sharon, I also got a fit bit. I find it very motivating. I wear it all the time. My weight is doing ok, and I finally got past that plateau I had been stuck at for so long.

I've missed you all and will try to post more regularly.

Well, I am hooked good. Never thought this would happen to me.
I love, love, love walking to the new wii game I have. Each day so far I am doubling what I
did the day before. Right now I want to go up there and turn it on, but do not have the time
before church. I remembered LA being so sore from that Butt Lift video, and never thought
walking would do that, but up the back of my upper thighs and bottom of my butt...OMG...
I am so sore. I know! I did too much too fast, but I did not realize it.

I have been pop MT breakfast, and will be for lunch as it is prepared and waiting for when
I get home. I have also started putting a spoon of cocoa powder in my coffee and that is for
health reasons, but it gives me an extra pow! guess it is caffeine? I will take it as I need
some kind of push.

I have noticed most all the teams I belong to have slacked off...except FitBit and that is because they just synced with SparkPeople....what is going on? Why are we all not posting
like we used to do. We have holiday pressure coming on, and now is the time to cut a good
groove before then.

Have a great day, and God bless you all.

Caroline

I made 8000 steps yesterday...yay...thanks to Sharon for putting me onto the Wii Walk It Out.
Went to GameStop and got a used one...well, they are over $50 new and I was not sure I would
stick to it....and got it for 9.99...Yay again. I walked in the a.m. and enjoyed it....could not wait for the next walk, so I went in the p.m. and walked and it was night time on the wii, so cute.
I did more in p.m. since I was getting the hang of it.

I blew my diet yesterday. I thought it ok to eat pop corn with dh, but had no idea there were
400 calories in a bag. OMG!! So glad Fitbit synced with SparkPeople, making it easier for me
to track from my ipod. I was shocked that there were that many calories. Won't do that anymore.

Went yard sale with dh this a.m. and found only a book...The body can heal itself with foods.
I will study that and see what I can do to help this old body feel better.

Fixing to go get with my routine, and hope you all have a great weekend. God bless

Caroline

Well, trying to get back with you all.
I fell and got my pelvic off rotation and got my knee off that sent hot fire down my leg.
It is doing better. That on top of having a bad bug that still lingering on. Head and lungs.

I fell taking one step from my washer to the dryer. We have the washer and dryer on a piece
of linoleum and there is one foot before the carpet takes over. It is slick and shine-ie and I
had on rubber soled shoes...tennis anyone?...and it puts the skids on...put the brakes on and
down I went. Thought I was ok until a month later things started showing up.

I gave myself time off to not think about anymore than I have to.

LA, I wanted to post and tell you how interested I was in what your nutritionist had to say about foods that cause inflammation in our bodies, and foods that do not.

Heather, good to see you and PG....Mona, I miss you. You are my inspiration and I am pulling with you.

LA, all is well with my son, and he took the right path...at least it was path that made me and
his dad happy. Thank you for the kind word.

Sharon, get better soon...we need to hit that wii machine. I think I will go back up there is
afternoon and crank it up again.

I am eating with in my calorie range only...if I can stick to that faithfully I will not gain.
I will get back with MT in a few days I hope.

God bless you all.

Hello Team -

Wow it's quiet in the halls of MT. I know for myself I've been pretty overwhelmed. Weight is steady, exercise an all time low due to work and emotional fatigue.

Caroline, so you got sick, then Sharon? Yikes. Sorry I've been out of touch. Maybe we'll all get back here soon.

Sharon I hope you've been able to rest and I can see from your post that your struggles are getting harder with your weight than what you were doing a year ago. What has changed do you think? Is it just that the closer we get to our goal the harder it is? I know I can't drop those last 10.

We all saw M3M reach her goal - and I wonder how she is doing now. We need a dose of Brook!

LA I hope your BP is still on it's way down. Try for Friday?

Jan had a milestone birthday and she is on her way to her new place so hopefully we'll here from her again. And Michelle!!! Wonder how she is doing.

PG - did you start back on the plan or are you dancing around the idea?

Have a good evening everyone. Hope to see you all here soon.

Hi every one

Sorry to be MIA for a while. I came down with urinary tract infection and trying to get rid of it on my own, had several days where things were going wrong one thing after another, had to rush to clean my house as my best friend was staying with us for 4 days, When she left last Mon. all 3 of us were sick. My husband had diarrhea, my son was vomiting, had pains in his chest, alot of pressure and really bad heartburn, I had a fever, chills, upset stomach. My son went to doctor for 2 days and went to hospital for chest x-rays and thank God the chest x-rays came back normal and he just went back to school on Fri. after being absent for 3 days. We are all start slowly getting better, but now have mucus building up in my throat and chest and feel like I will be coming down with bronchistis as I get them every year the minute the weather starts getting colder.

Am starting my 2nd round of six weeks today as the past several weeks my weight been bouncing up and down and went on a couple of binges. It has been two weeks since I did any exercises and really need to get back with it as I don't want more time to go by before I get back to exercise again as that is what happen over the summer I didn't do any thing for a month and really had hard time getting back to it again and had to start all over again and work my way up and it was really difficult and don't want to do that again. For the next couple of weeks am going to try to be pop as much as I can as I really want to be close to my goal before the year is up.

The cross country season , he have 2 more meets and the Marching band he have 3 more foot ball game and is finally coming to an end the next couple of weeks and soon after that the wrestling season starts. I am getting really burn out and can't do this any more and it is really hard on me when all the driving falls on me.

Miss you all and hope that all is well with you all. Am going to go as I am in the middle of doing wash and stuff around the house and to have my snack and try to do my exercise and go to sleep for a while as I have to pick up my son late at school tonight.

Have a great day every one.

Maybe you haven't reached all your goals yet-but who has? And maybe you've made a few mistakes along the way-but who hasn't? You have every reason to feel proud of who you are. Notice your triumphs, big and small. There are so many.

emoticon Great at 58. So glad to have you here. Heather said it all. I hope you make it happen. emoticon

Heather, I hope to walk with you tomorrow. I miss that! I am doing better with BP. Eating mostly MT. Lower sodium. Upping the water. Don't be a hermit!

PG. put down the chips. Make you and hubby something nutritious as a night snack. Oven bake some sweet potato chips or fries with some "fried" MT chicken nuggets. I think you are wonderful to move to help your sweet parents. You will never regret it

Sharon!!! Miss you!!!

I am truly focusing on eating MT and getting water in. I need more exercise but like Heather and PG said, let's don't miss out on life in the process and truly be grateful for where we are right now! Love you girls!!!

Happy Thanksgiving. Booooo, gained weight again. No worries, I think its my old friend sodium....and chips. My DH loves chips and I've been munching with him.

Way to accept ourselves as we are as we try to just be healthy not "skinny". Going to try MT eating today just to lose that sodium.

We are moving to "the farm" to be with my parents. The farm has gotten rundown and needs lots of work that my father can no longer do. I've been stressed because I love my house and my life up north but I don't want my parents to live in such a way that I wouldn't either. I've taken a year off of work to be able to do this but oh my time flies. I've got 9 months to organize...although, finding a job closer to home might be better. DH figures my parents need us and it is true. Another friends dad just passed and another one is in the hospital for colon cancer, so I am very aware of time that you cannot get back. On the good side, lots of opportunity for long walks with my dogs and beautiful bike rides in the country. Plus a rec centre for aerobics, yoga, belly dancing and squash!

Anyhow, I will try to check in as I try to get back to an "Overweight - BMI"

Good luck all. NO MORE ALLERGENS! Menopause!!! Embrace your womanhood, you deserve it. Greatat58...you can do it. Check in with us, this team is great.

Have a great day, everybody!

Hi There Greatat58
If you are able to go to the bathroom/get water, you are able to sneak a snack! How about hard boiled eggwhites in a small baggie, to keep in your pocket? I know it sounds kinda boring, but that was always my "go to" for a quick protein fix. Another option would be grapefruit sections in a bag, or a few pieces of cut up chicken breast.

I know diabetics cannot be restrained from keeping their blood sugar straight. I work with someone like that. So in the middle of your day, a 5 minute trip to get a glass of water, bathroom, egg whites and some fruit sections should be do-able? Eat while you are headed for your water and on the way back. Tell your boss you need to keep your blood sugar regulated or you feel crappy (if they ask) MT does that you know!! What do you do? Best wishes for making it work - this plan is the only one that got me back to a normal BMI :)

Does anyone have any ideas for me? I recently started a part-time job which I love, however I work 5.5 hrs. a day and do not get a break where I could eat my meal or snack. How can I stay on the 6WBMO with these hours. I am lucky to even be able to leave the floor in order to get a drink of water. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello Team -

PG it's great to see you back and losing! And NO your muffin top didn't scare me (SUMO did a little, yes I admit it but muffin top NEVER!!!!)

LA I hope you are feeling better now and that you'll be able to control your BP once the infection subsides.

I'm still hovering in the low 140's - not doing MT either. I'm 10 pounds away from the goal I wanted to reach for the last 8 years. Maybe a BMI of 20.7 vs my current 22.4 is never going to happen for me.....either I buckle down and make it happen or I decide that the last couple of years really haven't been so terrible - being a size 8-10 isn't so terrible. I should really just love who I am now. That is what I am working on now. I have succeeded in changing my "last bite" time. I started in August and it's now October, I believe that habit has become real. I've only had to eat past 6:30 maybe 6 times since the beginning of August!!! YAY me!
I'm making friends with garbanzo beans - they are becoming my new "M&M". I like eating little bits of things. Raspberries are my favorite - but they ain't cheap!! Next are raisins - but they ain't low cal! I also eat fresh coconut - YUM. I've added back an egg yolk a day (max) and enjoy my salads more now. It's these little things. Now if I can amp up my activity maybe I can make a change - or maybe that will never happen.

So, apart from some personal struggles - this is what I am doing now. Trying to love my life and accept ME. I also believe I've started the "lovely" journey through menopause and this is what may be causing more migraines. This runs in our family and fortunately, my mom's migraines all but stopped once she got through it so I'm looking at that as a good thing. I'm feeling more mood swings than usual as well. I am getting older, my skin is getting more delicate, my back aches more easily why am I fighting this? We can't reverse time and I personally don't WANT to! I think accepting age with grace is a big enough task without trying to swim against the tide of life.

I will never be that skinny girl I was because I am older and softer and WAY LESS active now. Too Bad I didn't enjoy myself more then. Too bad I was so hard on myself then, I remember thinking a 24 inch waist was too big! Now I'd be ecstatic to see 26 instead of 28. I am trying to let go of the feelings I have carried with me through the 20's and into my 50's - it's time for a new way of looking at life.

So - that's where I'm at. I will try to come around more often because I truly do care about you all. Because I work at home I am a lot less social than I used to be and I don't want to become a hermit!!!

Now I have Sunday work to do. Enjoy the rest of your weekend team!
