231.6 – 229.2 = 2.4 pounds.

In a stark contrast to my reaction to last week’s weigh in, I am tickled to death to have dropped 2.4 pounds. ABSOLUTELY THRILLED. If I can maintain this pace through my vacation, June 1st through the 12th, I will have 7 weeks of uninterrupted POPING! And I hope to lose so much weight that I actually become … weightless!

Mama3 – 5.6 pounds, looks like it’s time to bust out the smaller PJs.

Kate3 – As I was reminded last week, 2 pound is 100 pounds in a year. Awesome job.

Estelle – 4.3, great job.

Gammah – no prob, you’ll get it back and more next week!

PG – you are almost at your mini-goal!

Now it’s time for Andy “dude mode” …

LA- None of that “I ain’t a good leader” B.S. (and I don’t think that you need an abbreviation thread to figure that one out!). Sorry kiddo, but someone had to say it! You are an excellent facilitator as you are most definitely “in it to lose it!”. So you’re stuck a bit, most are when we get near our goals. Everyone knows that the last 10 pounds are the toughest. Besides, who is going to ask me all the tough questions if you don’t? I am still chewing on the first and you gave me another thought provoking, and deeply honest, question. So buck up cowgirl, and get back on the bronco! WE NEED YOU!

Yay!! We are moving on down!!! I say we, because I AM along for the ride when I'm not actively dropping pounds. Still struggling to get back to 137, but at least now I'm only 1 pound away!!

Congrats to you big losers (yes you KNOW who you are) and for the rest of us that WANT to be big losers this next week, I think we all know what we need to do. If not, reach OUT on daily chat and let's see if this week can be one we will ALL want to shout about!!!!

LA - quit being so hard on yourself. I am a firm believer that 120-ville is easy when you are in your 20's but it's a bit more work at our age so priorities, focus and no getting sidetracked will get us there......you do a GREAT job of maintaining too - so there!!

I am back to 128. Still in FALSE maintenance. You all may just want to fiind a

I was up 2/10 of a pound. So, guess I am maintaining.
Leaving my ticker as is.
Today is second day of plan A so I hope for a good weigh in next week.
At least I have learned how to maintain...LOL

My plan A likes fish, so I have several nice pieces cooked and ready to eat.
I get my grill today...YAY!! emoticon

Does anyone else here weigh daily and use WeightBot? There's a scale that you can link up to that called Withings Scale. It's an internet WiFi connected body scale that automatically records weight, fat mass, and BMI onto an account on their Withings website and updates automatically on WeightBot - if I wasn't still happy with the scale I have I would love to look into that one. :D www.withings.com/

Congradulations to all! You are all doing so well and you motivate me not to quit.

this week down 3 lbs on my scale, currious to see what work scale says.. i'll let you know tomorrow since i'm not there til late tonight. Oh ya almost forgot took my measurements and i've lost 17.25 inches since i started two weeks ago, 3.5 in my waist alone... so that's gotta be good right? i've never really tracked inches before.. i know that i also measured a week before i started and since then i've lost 5.5 inches in my waist.

neither success nor failure is permanent...

short term goal:

10%= 23 lbs = 212 lbs by 05/17

39lbs=no longer obese=196 by 6/21

long term goal:
71 lbs=no longer overweight=164 by 10/11

Congrats on the weight loss. I know how hard it is to give up diet soda. On the Provida website they said if you could use Diet Rite on occasion. It has no calories, carbs, caffeine or sodium. I have had a glass every now an then when I think I can't get another glass of water in and also want a different taste.

Uh Oh! I gained 2 lbs. It was DH's birthday and we celebrated. What is really frustrating is that I saw a new number last week, and now I have to wait. Heather, I'm with you, I'm not changing my ticker either.

Jan - seriously I am RACING YOU to the 6's - GOT IT???? I know you have one lil' competitive bone in that pretty body of yours!!!

Andy - I hear you brother - Diet Dews are my coffee. The biggest concerns I have with diet soda are: The phosphorus inhibits vitamin absorption, the sodium (50 mg a can in my case), and the artificial sweeteners. I HATE artificial sweeteners - I blame them and low fat foods for the confusion and gain in my early 40's. Have you tried crystal lite PURE FITNESS - it's expensive, but all natural and super tasty - in fact 1 straw can last 2 waters for me. I also use true lemon which I buy in packets that look like sugar but it's evaporated lemon and cane juice. So the weekend is over - and too much MOP will make you MOPE!! C'mon! Let's see what magic we can do this week!!!

My first weigh in with the new gang,

I lost 2.2. I know why it wasn't more. I did some soda, not enough water, and I was more MOP than POP this last weekend.

SOOOOOO, I know what I must do. DRINK WATER NOT DIET SODA! AND .... get back to the gym. I think I am ready to implement the work out phase of my program where I will also begin to track body fat and measurements in order to counter any negative mental effects of muscle weight gain.

Feel free to chime in with any suggestions,

Ok, I've procrastinated long enough I'm hanging on to 159lbs like it's the holy grail. loss of 2oz...can I hear a woohoo... emoticon lol Not going back in the 160's is reason enough not to panic. Heather we have to step away from the 9's again and get where we're supposed to go. No more window shopping...lets get to our destination! Yeah!

I cannot believe this program. I started on Monday May 2nd. I was 254.0 and I dropped to 241.0 in the first week and another 7.2 in week 2. I tipped the scale at 233.8. I thought the scale was wacky so I re-weighed. Although I am walking everyday, I am waiting to get to 225 to start the workouts (my bad knees), but I am super excited to get there to begin the body sculpting. I am using the body bugg to monitor my progress and they are right on when they say that the eating jump starts your metabolism. I have also noticed that I am not as cranky throughout the day. I always hated those people that ate all day long and never gained weight, now I am doing just that and LOSING!

I can go on and on, but the fact of the matter is that I don't cheat because I am never more than a couple hours from having just ate. 20.2 pounds in 2 weeks ( I weigh in on Sundays). I know that I sound like a commercial, but this really works.

ONLY 60 MORE TO GO! (I know that the weight loss will slow down, but for now this is exciting!)

first week on 6wbmo 14 lbs, not only that this whole week was menses week. wow!! I'm very happy.

22 lbs since April 28. Not even 3 weeks.

Congradulations to all the one's losing, & LA being away for 6 days and only gaining one pound wow that is definitely something to be proud of.

I am content with only being up one pound this week. We had 6 days of mostly on plan eating, but the off plan was really off plan. My mother-in-law is coming today through Monday. I love her dearly. My plan is to stay strong and on plan no matter what. At least we are in MY home now and control is better that way.

Way to go SHARON! Your ticker is really moving down. It will be exciting to see how much weight was lost by our team this week!
